Morning all! Happy Friday. Here to start you off with a little HR humor!

I finally motivated and decorated a LOT of penis cookies yesterday. Valentine's Day is a wild time to be a cookier, haha. Today I need to keep myself motivated and get to a set of corporate logo cookies that are due in a few days. I must start as soon as I swallow the last sip of coffee here.

Pics are more innocent Valentine's Cookies :)

QOTD: Media round up! What movies, tv, books, or podcasts can you recommend? We started the first season of For All Mankind, and whoooaaaa. It's really good and very thought provoking. If you don't know the premise, it's imagines that Russians landed on the moon before the US, and because of that, a whole lot of history changes in its wake. It's really mind-blowing. I read a whole bunch of books in a row that were kind of duds, but I finally have 2 in a row to recommend, thanks to Sheila, Jen and Emily! First, The Last List of Mabel Beaumont, which starts off so sad, but becomes a very life affirming sweet story. Second, Killers of a Certain Age, which is kind of like Charlies Angels (if they were assassins) meets the Golden Girls. I haven't finished it yet, but it totally got me through my long day of decorating and I can't wait to keep going. I've also had a run of no-so-good podcasts, so looking for good recommendations there, too.

Accountability: I found leftover m&ms from m Christmas class.

Good morning, everybody!

Of all the rodent-based holidays, I would have to say that GroundHogs Day is my favorite.

Rodent Power Rankings:

5) Beaver

4) Porcupine

3) Squirrel

2) Capybara

1) Chipmunk

If you are thinking "Jim doesn't know anything about Capybaras", you are probably right. I do love a good chipmunk, though.

I leave for the airport at 1:30. I was able to make it into the gym last night. Marilyn is away this weekend, so it will be a quiet one for me. I plan to find a good slow cooker recipe and make that tomorrow or Sunday. Then I will be good for food until she returns on Tuesday.

QOTD: Reading The Eagle's Claw, which is Jeff Shaara's book about the battle of Midway in 1942. Watching True Detective North country.

Breakfast: Ham and eggs

Lunch: Pizza

Dinner: TBD, we will see what time I get home

Have a great day, all!

Good luck with the slow cooker. What foods are your bachelor foods to enjoy when Marilyn is not home? IE types of cuisine she won't touch.

She is a pretty similar eater to me, so I'm not sure. She used to refuse to try sushi, now she loves it and same with curry.

I do this at least once a month. I use Dry French onion instead of Au Jus and I throw garlic cloves in. It is a great source of protein.
