What's on your Monday Menu?
I gotta admit a couple of times I yelped and jumped out of my seat. DH's hand was also crushed a few times.

Morning.
Good luck QJB, I hope you get all the offers.
I've been in a weird mind space and taking some time for me. Unfortunately, that included couch potato time. But I started wrapping my head around things and got in some good workouts Fri/Sat/Sun and helped myself to a little retail therapy yesterday. All first world problems. All will resolve and or pass.
I've done a hard yoga stretch sequence today and plan on heading to the gym for some cardio and the weight machine circuit. Then a quick trip to Michael's, Sprouts for protein bread and maybe TJ's. Their chicken breakfast sausage is all over my feeds and now it's calling my name. I also plan on cleaning bathrooms and the staircase today, so, big things are happening over here. Roger is healing more every day and all restrictions get lifted on Wednesday. We have an appt to activate the device on Feb. 14. Happy Valentine's Day to me, indeed.
QoTD: I have varying levels of workout style jackets in about 10 colors. I actually like my jacket to match my leggings. And then I have a sage green quilted one for a bit more warmth. I've got a long, (in my opinion, gorgeous) black wool jacket that I bought at my smallest when I realized I was going somewhere that the weather was in the 20-30's. I got it on super clearance, it's CK and every year I pull it out I'm terrified it won't fit. So far, so good.
Hunkering down at home for me usually includes the need to cook things and this last week was no exception. So I have lots of leftovers to work through.
Foods today look like
B: 1 egg, 2 slices bacon, 1/2 Thomas' 100 english muffin with a bit of butter. I'm craving bacon
L: left over Egg roll in a bowl. Tried TJ's Gochuchang sauce and I'm so excited I did. Makes my taste buds quite happy.
D: I have roast chicken leftovers. I'm thinking of chicken pot pie -- just need to figure out how to make it more WLS friendly.
Peace Everybody.

of course! It's so good!! And easy
The original recipe used thighs but I prefer breasts. In a cast iron skillet, chicken plus
1/4 c kojuchang,
1/4 cup soy sauce,
1/4 rice wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil - mix together,
Marinate chicken for 30 min, stir once. Set broiler to high, cook uncovered for 30 minutes,
About 6 inches from broiler,
Stir once halfway through. It's like chicken crack
