What's on your Monday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
So exciting about the Job front. Looks like valentines will be super busy for you. Hope it all comes together quickly for you. It will be here before you know it seeing the first is this Thursday. You will kill it as always.
Had a nice weekend. Gym has added a trampoline workout that I am excited to take only problem is the spaces filled up so fast I have not been able to get into a class yet. I did get to try it in my crazy 8 class Saturday so I know I will enjoy it when I get in to the class. After that the weekend went downhill when it came to diet and exercise. I am not happy, but I did have a great time.
QOTD: I have closets full. I have a ski coat that I walk the dog in that was expensive in its day. It was giving to me from my work husband. He actually gave me 2 awesome coats when him and his new wife moved, and he found boxes of clothes in the attic that belongs to his diseased wife. His daughter didn't want them, so I have the honor of owning them. But my favorite is a full-length black leather coat made in Italy that when I checked online was over $3000 and I got it for $5 at a rummage sale at a church in an upscale neighborhood.

I bought a red wool coat with big black buttons not long after my weight loss surgery. I was so excited that it was a smaller size and fit so well. It is still my favorite. I have other coats in the closet but always grab that red one when I need a winter coat.

Red is my absolute favorite color, especially when you see everybody around with dark colors walking about. I have a favorite red rain coat. And I even have a pair of red cowboy style short rain boots. I got tons of compliments when I wear them.

Good morning all and Happy Monday,
I hope everyone's week is starting off on the right foot
I finished the final leg of my trip and slept in my own bed last night. It was wonderful. New day, back to the day to day life.
My trip was full of action, excitement, and adventure from start to finish. I am elated that I can do things like this now. It would've been limiting if I was at my old weight. Vacations were beating up my body since everything was more difficult or not even attempted when I was 370lbs. Add on the mobility issues of the last five years and travel was out of the question besides emergency travel.
I gained 2lbs on the 2 1/2 week trip.
QOTD- Winter Jackets! I had great winter jackets. My favorite was a 3/4 length yellow, big puffy, down jacket. It was like George Costanza going into a liquor store, turning around in an aisle and the huge jacket knocks liquor bottles off the shelf cause his jacket is that big. It was so warm, waterproof, and held up to any condition. It was also amazing for smuggling things into movie theaters. It could fit 2 Fortys, a couple Cokes, and all the candy I cared to eat.
Currently, I have a red puffer jacket, a Carhartt jacket that it's too big, and a peacoat.
B: Tangerine. Coffee.
L: some restaurant with a couple buddies.
D: Red sLobster. I usually go top of one biscuit, popcorn shrimp or grilled shrimp, and something green. My sister suggested it for the contrast to what I've been eating on the road for weeks.
Good to be home. Glad to be able to get more consistent in posting and reading here again.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
