that's too bad about Bourbon St. It's always been a little dicey, but that sounds really awful. I was in NOLA about 40 years ago to visit an old high school friend who was living there at the time. I always wanted to go back, but never did. It's probably just as well...

Good Morning Queen JB and Meneuers,

What is a jar of potted meat?! Was that an autocorrect?

Your workout classes sound so fun! It looks like you're really getting back to it - that's awesome!

I believe the potted meat is like deviled ham. Those little cans of pureed "meat" you usually see them next to the cans of tuna or chicken. I loved it as a kid, but now they are pretty salty tasting and I like salt.

Nope potted meat is in a can by tuna. Salty pate with cheap parts of some animal ground up. It tastes good I don't know why. 210 calories for only 11 grams of protein and I never looked at the sodium. I just had it and thought i would fini**** There is a can of sardines in there too. It's gonna take a lot more for me to eat those just to get them out the pantry. I need to do more exercise but been doing the gym classes 2 x a week.

Yep, I am a googler! Most of my friends and family assume I have a secret background in the CIA because I am that friend who can track down anyone online ;) I'm sorry that your office hired someone with a criminal background. Since I have always worked in education settings, we are legally required to run pretty comprehensive background checks. It's doesn't stop us from hiring total ******** but at least we know they don't have arrests.

Yahooo QJB! You'll be professional and gorgeous - now it's up for you to decide if it's the next best thing. Omg back to daily work, not gonna lie...re-entry could be rough, but you'll find your groove and when you get a paycheck after two weeks, you'll be like, "oh yeah, that's why I work" haha

QOTD: I had some major tax issue two years ago and used a live advisor on TurboTax which ain't cheap, but it gave me peace of mind. I think I'll continue on with that. We shall see how being unemployed for 4 months in 2023 will affect me this year. Ahhh the good old days of unemployment lol

We found a super cute bakery cafe deli a block away so we went this morning and stocked up on food. It's rainy and dreary and my mom feels pretty bad after her cancer treatment yesterday so we will hunker down and hang here at the Airbnb all day. So eats will be;

B: leftover hot and sour soup

L: boars head turkey and cheese sandwich with pickles and hot peppers!

D: more soup!

I've had two cans of Colombe iced coffee so far wheeeeeee
