It's been quite a while with the google/Fitbit merger but sounds like you might need to update the app. I haven't migrated to google but I don't have to login repeatedly or have the app close (yet)

Good morning ~ Glad you enjoyed your trip and beat the snow home. Have you contacted OH about the photo problem? They may be able to help. Late morning, I slept in and it was glorious. Yesterday flew by. It was so busy but I got through the day okay. Today is more of the same though just one meeting, some clean up and then on to my month end reports, finally. Glad to have a break from rain for the next week and temps of 70's for this weekend. The Lions made it to the playoffs and Rob couldn't be happier. The kids are coming over for the games and dinner Sunday. Looking forward to a very nice weekend.

G'morning all!

Much better day yesterday than Monday; work under control, emotions under control and food was under control.

Have you guys had any ant invasions? With the rains seems like the ants are trying to find a way to come in. We get rid of them in one side of the house, they show up somewhere else. I know in the big pic the ants are not a big deal but I have this phobia that they are walking all over me and it gives me the hibbie jibbies. I thought after tenting the house during the summer we wouldn't have any ant problems but they are back after all the rain we've been having.

QOD: time travel for sure. I don't wanna know or care what other people think. Most of the time it's not pleasant getting in somebody else's head.

My meals yesterday:

  • Protein iced coffee
  • Epic chicken, chicken meatballs
  • Protein pudding, jello, puff bar
  • Shredded Mexican chicken
  • Cal: 984 Protein: 143 Water: 60 oz
  • E:5 miles wog Steps:15,508

Happy hump day!

Yikes, no ant invasions here but it's funny that you wrote about it this morning because I was just reading a book that had a biting red ant invasion as part of the storyline about an hour before I read this, so now I have the heebee-jeebees all over again! Eep.

We have had issues with ants every once in awhile. Last time our pest control person went under the house/crawl space and treated them there.

Every summer we seem to get a few of the tiny ants in the house. We put out some traps and it fixes the problem.

They have a good treatment for ants -- it's outdoors, around the house, and has no toxic chemicals. It's borax, which is about as safe as you can get.

We do have some sort of sugary poison that we put out, they eat and take it back to their colony and they all die. Then 2 days later another colony pops out in another corner. I was really hoping the tenting we did due to termites would have killed all these creatures.
Will tell DH about borax around the house. Thanks!

yep - we get at least one or two every summer - esp after it rains. We use either Terro products or some Borax detergent mixed in with either sugar water or peanut butter. Usually does the trick.

We get these ones my grandparents always called"piss" ants. Soooo annoying and invasive. We do bait traps but I can't remember what they are called. We also have to use spray at possible points of entry outside...windows and door ways. We don't use them in the house because of the dogs and cats.
