QJB - good luck on the interview. Even if it's not your favorite it's good to have choices. New year, new and improved opportunities.
Last couple of nights I've been sleeping on and off due to the dang shoulder. I don't know if it's because I have been working out or just the course of recovery, but it's sore and not in a good way. PT tells me it's OK and I'm only 10 weeks in, but I just want this shoulder to hurry up and be pain free.
QOD: bear, I always wanted to be a bear. This way no one comments on my weight, or extra weight, and nowadays they even have contests about who is bigger. I want to eat and then go to sleep for a long time and wake up skinny and repeat the cycle.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Costco egg bites
- TJ kebabs w/Fage yogurt
- Protein pudding, jello
- Hb egg
- Cal: 1,000 Protein: 100 Water: 60 oz
- E: modified weight session Steps:5,302 (rainy day no walking outside)

I could have written that, verbatim. PT is happier than I am, but they keep telling me to be patient. And I can't have more than about 10 PT sessions left. Insurancesays they cover a max of 30 sessions per plan year, no matter how many surgeries or issues you have.
I also thought of being a bear. But they've been in the news lot out here. Lots of bears wandering about. One was going door to door in the fall, eating pumpkins from people's front steps. Another was eating all the bird seed out of backyard feeders. If I'm going to be something as big as a bear, I amnot eating pumpkins and bird seed.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

We can commiserate together.
They had told me I had 12 sessions of PT but at the end of 12 sessions they requested more and it was approved. Although the approval means zilch because beginning of calendar year and we need to meet deductible.
Agreed, if I am a bear I wanna eat like a bear and not people's leftover.

QOTD- A Humpback Whale, summers in Alaska and winters in Hawaii. Move so gracefully in water and breach just for the hell of it.
The ice just won't go away. It is barely above freezing so everything is still hanging around. I will either have to go to the store or do an Instacart order today. But I can't open my front door due to snow & ice. I tried to get the shovel to clear it yesterday but was unable to open the shed door. I hate this weather, definitely cabin fever but no holes in the freezer yet.
My roommate tells me the roads are clear once you get to the main road. I may have to force myself to go. White knuckles and all.
I started re-watching This Is Us on Netflix. I was really upset by how much they focused on food and weight loss in the first season. I know all of those feelings and it is traumatizing just to see it. Reminds me of where I have come from, and the helplessness of not being able to change anything, or make anything work. I am going to do some journaling about this, to work out my feelings.
