What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Not yet, but maybe next week.

QOTD- No just NO! The only tattoos that I have are little dots so that they could line up the radiation machine. I totally hate them even though they are barely visible to anyone but me. I have toyed with getting a whale but honestly I think it would hurt too much.
We're on snow watch again, supposedly 1-8 inches. But so far nothing, it's too warm at 37 to snow now. But tonight into tomorrow the temps are going to drop...so who knows. My theory is that whenever they predict snow it doesn't happen. It only snows when they don't predict it. But honestly this area is hard to predict because we have so many influences. The Gorge, the mountains and the coast all impact the weather.
Tis the season for jobs, my roommate was offered 3 jobs yesterday. I'm not sure which one he will take but I'm happy that he finally has some interest.
I'm going to hunker down this weekend and hopefully my back will forgive me for the abuse it's endured.
Have a great day everyone!

Julia, Marilyn may be going to a quilt show in Sisters Oregon, have you ever heard of that? She doesn't quilt, just going along for the girls weekend.

I found them! Here are some pictures someone shared on OH, years ago, of their tattoos.
My surgeon is great. I'm not getting a tattoo of him.

One of the ladies that had weight loss surgery the same time I did had a tattoo of her mother's face on her upper arm. It was sort of amusing to watch her mom's face become so different as she lost her weight. I have no tattoos at all and from a time when it was rather scandalous to get one, especially for a woman. I avoid any unnecessary pain so will never get one.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
G'afternoon, all!
late again. I'd made plans to start cleaning the basement today, but all I've done is play on the Internet and make a pot of marinara sauce. I'll make some hot & sour soup for dinner. Perfect for this cold, snowy day.
I think we're also supposed to get around 12" (I'm a 2h 10m drive from Jim (I know this because my cousin lives in the same town)). The snow is taking a break at the moment, but I'm sure it'll start up again since it's supposed to snow all day. I have no idea how much is out there already. I'm just glad to be retired, and that DH can work from home.
great news on the job front, QJB!! Hope you'll get an offer from at least one of them!
QOTD: no - I also come from the era when tats were kind of stigmatized. Some people my age and older have them now, but I'd never get one.
B: plain skyr with cranberry sauce, coffee with half & half
MS: piece of einkorn sourdough bread with butter
L: 10 multigrain tortilla chips, 3 T hummus, orange
AS: lime Ratio yogurt with raspberries
D: hot and sour soup
may have a protein shake or some protein pudding if I need more protein by the end of the day
ex: I did a 20-minute cardio video that I found on YouTube. I know this is super slack, but at least it's SOMETHING.
have a good rest of your day, everyone!
