Good morning all. Today is pretty low key. We've got lunch out with a friend, and some regular stuff around the house. It hit 56 degrees yesterday, so I actually did a few minor things outside.

I haven't done an actual count, but since I started cheeseburgers back in my rotation at home, I've been having at least two a day. Ham cat wants to know where his damn ham is.

QOTD: Even as a teenager I was not a big car guy. It's just a way to get from here to there, and I'd prefer to keep those costs low. This vehicle is a 2002 (maybe 2001?), and I'll drive it until it needs to go to the crusher. The only times I ever had a car payment was from 1979-1982, and 1994-1997. It's nice not having a car payment.

Good morning all and Happy Lil Sebastian Friday,

QJB- I'm excited for you and the imminent job offer. Great job knocking it out of the park on the interview.

I'm monitoring the weather more often than weathermen today. I am ready to get out of Dodge at the drop of a dime if snow begins to be on the horizon.

Does anybody have any Memphis restaurant suggestions or off the beaten path things to explore?

I love it when a plan comes together. I had the hardest time finding new dress shoes and a formal coat. My feet lost weight too resulting in a size smaller and the normal extra wide. Yesterday, I found shoes after 3 different stores. I ordered 4 jackets and none worked. I found one yesterday at Goodwill and a quick button will make it fresh.

QOTD- I've had my current car 4 years. It is now 20 years old with 106k. It is a POS car and I love it. I drive it like a go kart complete with loud exhaust. I get to play Rad Racer IRL.

B Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine

L: Filet mignon, mushrooms. This is my 3rd meal from the same steak.

D: ???

I probably won't be posting tomorrow so here are my Friday pics.

Pic #1: One of the ill fitting jackets and took a chance on the style. I sent this to my gf for a chuckle, complete with Millennial pose. I thought it may be appreciated here, too. The jacket wouldn't close. The struggle is real.

Do not eat at the Memphis bbq company, there are so many better places. I liked Huey's burgers down by Beale street. I think it's a local chain.

The civil rights museum at the Lorraine hotel is a must, really moving and angering and all the feels. I did find Graceland to be way more charming and wholesome than I expected but if I had to pick one definitely the Civil Rights museum.

Good Morning! Friday-Eve! I think I'm on Bert's plan! I'm so excited for you and the job opportunity but it does sound like you need to rest that knee today. Yesterday was mostly spent in meetings so today I need to catch up on my normal stuff.

QOTD: I got my car just under two years ago. Typically we seem to trade in every 4ish years. At some point John will probably trade his Cruz in-it's a 2019.

Good morning ~ Happy to hear your interview went well! Rest that knee and best of luck for tomorrow. Yesterday was fun, until we broke out into groups and I got stuck with the most annoying person in the room. What are you going to do? I ran into to my County counterpart in the hallway (the training was at his office) It totally escaped me that he worked there so it was a nice surprise. Otherwise, I have my group presentation today then I head home later this afternoon. I'm off tomorrow and since Monday is a holiday, I have a 4 day weekend! Next week is really short too and packed with personal appts so this month is going to fly. The work will pile up, but I got this.

QOTD - I have 2015 Nissan Rogue that has 170k miles. I love this car and will keep her as long as I can. I even prefer her to my husbands 2 year old car, but I take his on trips for the apple carplay feature - the map display is life on the road.

Accountability - No bigger UGH. The group annoyance at my training had me hitting the mini candy bar box several times. Which rolled into Jack in the Box tacos for dinner and a double gin and tonic at the bar. Talk about gut bomb! I still feel disgusting. Today will be clean.

B- coffee x 2, protein pastry

l - catered - very good food at this one, it's local take out not hotel food thankfully

d- TBD road food

Have a great day!

Jealous of the 4 day. You'll do better for sure today. Double gin was not a bad choice.
