What's on your Thursday Menu?

Good morning and happy jr Friday. I'm sorry to hear about your knee being worse today QJB.
Very bumpy flight yesterday but arrived early, I expect with all the weather moving around the country this week the flight home will be bumpy as well. I did not want to work out this morning, I had even set my alarm for a later wake up in case I slept through but I woke up in time, did a short all incline interval workout on the treadmill and now I'm just drinking my second cup of coffee before getting in the shower. Kind of a lazy start and I'm enjoying it.
meals are a bit on the fly, hotel breakfast so I'll stick to eggs or yogurt maybe with toast, lunch I have a protein bar and cheese sticks but I'm ina 930 to 1 meeting at a customer so I'm sure rhere will be food. When I booked my flights I wasn't sure if we'd be early or late for the workshop so I'm on the last flight home...if I get done at the office early enough I plan on stopping at one of my cold favorites The Cornish PastyCompany and having the chicken tikka pasty or the chicken pot pie pasty. Yummy. If not early enough then something at the airport.
qotd - I have a 2013 Mazda Cx5 that I bought June 30 2012. From 2013 to 2019 it spent more time parked at the airport than on the road because my work travel was so high, it still only has under 120k on it. I love this car and have considered getting the newer model (or the cx50 but I think it's too low, I love the height of the small suv) but I love not having a car payment. When I bought this car, I gave mg sister my old car instead of trading it in. The Pontiac vibe was such a great car. She still has it, it's been through the wringer as the family back up car but is like the energizer bunny, still going and going at close to 300k miles. (The vibe was a joint design with Toyota, their version was the matrix).
when I got to the rental car place last night, I got in the first car and settled in, started it up and it said "plug in to charge"...the whole section was EVs, which is awesome, but I didn't want to deal with it for an overnight rental so eventually found a Kona and I'm driving that but it took a bit of work. Yay for more green options for the future!
have a terrific Thursday everyone!

Such a great car! I would have kept it except I really wanted something a bit higher like the small suv. I do enjoy visiting with it when I'm at my sisters, lol

My Kona is electric and I love it. But I totally get it that you don't want the hassle of charging while using the car only for one day.

Im not sure if it was out of juice or if that's kind of a default notification but definitely did not want to deal with it just then! I have noticed more and more places have chargers which is eonderful
