Oh wow, that is a cool bed!
I remember traveling with my parents as a kid, and we ended up at a motel on the road when an unexpected storm popped up so we just had to pull into wherever had an open room. The room had coin operated vibration beds. I was SO excited and my mom was SO horrified!
Exactly this. We never use the massage option, but it's great to raise and lower our heads for reading or tv or when we are sick and raise my feet every time I hurt or sprain something. And the split makes so we each adjust to our preference. I wi**** came with a mattress heater. Currently I have a single sized heating blanket on my side of the bed.
These last few months I would have loved the adjustable bed.

I have a heated mattress pad and it's amazing. It's in my top 5 of all the household things.

My old admin's hubby was a firefighter and I asked him why they all go off in the middle of the night. No idea why I thought a FF would be able to explain it more than anyone else, lol. He said because the house is usually colder so the batteries that are low on juice drop below the threshold but during the day they are a bit higher. No idea if that's true or not (I did 0 research) but I stick with it as an explanation

That's how batteries work! I'm just not sure 5 or 10 degrees temperature drop would be enough.
New detectors solve this issue. New codes call for a sealed battery that can't be replaced, and will last 10 years, which is when the detector is required to be replaced anyway.

Mine are hardwired plus battery but it's still the 9 vault I can change. In this house they didn't put anything in the vaulted part. My first condo, the fire detector was so high into the vault that I had to have someone with a special ladder so it. Special as in really tall.

G'morning all!
Post and run. Running late this morning; things to do, people to meet, projects to finish.
QOD: yes!! On the weekend went with DH & his mom to a new restaurant, to me. I always order sweet potato fries because I like them better than regular fries. The cals on the menu said 370! I was shocked. I ordered them anyway.
My meals yesterday:
- coffee
- Mex cauli rice + ground turkey, 4 chicken meatballs
- Protein pudding, Fage yogurt w/blueberries, 2 tangerines
- Costco chicken skewer, tuna + hb egg
- Cal: 1,004 Protein: 115 Water: barely 60 oz.
- E: modified weight session Steps:11,707

QOTD- It does sometimes influence my ordering, but I generally order what I want.
I'm on the no sleep train as well. I fell last weekend and was having back spasms that hurt so much they woke me last night. I ended up taking a Flexeril but that just made me groggy this morning.
It's maybe supposed to snow tonight, and possibly Friday and Saturday. But usually when they predict it, it doesn't happen. So I won't panic yet. Saturday our high is supposed to be 26 so we may be in the deep freeze for awhile.
I'm trying to get myself to work, no position seems to be comfortable but I need to tough it out.
Have a great day everyone!
