Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

I am sorry you have sleeping issues. I guess I am very fortunate. I very rarely have sleeping problems. If I indulge in a few ****tails, I do but that is few and far between. It's usually on vacation and I don't like to sleep on vacation. I don't want to miss anything, and I can sleep when I get home.

My friends are getting on a cruise today that I was invited to but can't go because of work. I only have 20 vacation days a year after 27 years of employment and I have to be very picky of where I use my days. Do I ever say how jealous I am of the retirees on here?

QOTD: Yes, the same. I love when I can see the calories. Absolutely influences my choices.

Accountability: Not bad and I did my Crazy 8 class.

TSS: 6 years 0-months 29-days 163.4 Lowest (129.4)

MS: brekki vanilla cinnamon ready to eat oats, blueberries, clementines.

CB: Coffee with SF coffee mate chocolate caramel creamer

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy

Good morning!

My sleep was great until 4 am. Why do the smoke/Co2 detectors always start failing in the middle of the night? Add to that, it scared the bejeezus out of brown dog. He usually sleeps at Roger's feet. But at 4:01 am he jumped right in between our pillows and was trembling so hard I thought he turned on the mattress massage option. And Rog stayed asleep. Until I poked him in the head and sent him in search of the correct detector so the dog didn't have a coronary out of fear. I was however, able to drift off for a bit after that and I'm feeling ready to face the day.

I was on track for all things yesterday. Today includes going to the gym. Not really feeling like I want to get in the pool, so I'm thinking recumbent bike, circuit weight stations and treadmill. Need to call to find a glass shower wall for my bathroom project and I think that's all the responsibilities I have today other than putting together meals.

QoTD: Yes, they absolutely do influence my picks. Even when doing the math and dividing by how many meals I think I can get out of the serving. Lately we have only been eating out on special occasions. We used to eat dinner or lunch out at restaurants 4-6 times a week. Now maybe we eat out 1-3 times a month. Lots of kitchen time for me. But I will admit I feel better overall controlling exactly what is going in my body.

Menu today

B: Egg bake (highly recommend. 1 egg, 1/2 cup cottage cheese beat together in little baking dish. Add a little fun stuff. Today Rog gets pepperoni, a little left over sauce and a sprinkle of fontina and I get a small chicken tender, a little fontina and a sprinkle of pecorino. Place little baking dish cups on sheet pan, bake at 350 until done. About 20ish minutes. Protein bomb and great way to use up little bits of leftovers(

L: night stop on my way home and grab some cooked turkey meat. I have a small, perfect avocado that is ready to eat. I will not miss it's little window of opportunity.

D: meatballs and sauce on top of a little orzo. maybe a side salad

Peace Everybody!

Oh please share more about this mattress massage option! My only mattress massage option is when a cat makes biscuits on my bladder but I have a feeling yours is more fun.
