Yep. After they took out my gallbladder I have bile reflux and my tracts are all full of it. Revision would address the reflux. Given my adhesions (I'm resigned to some of my issues being because of adhesions), I don't want more abdominal surgery. I'll go back on a PPI for a bit while waiting for my neurologist appointment in March. I'm a bit more prone to the wait and see approach right now. Or giving medical treatments more time to balance out. A day at a time!

My Pilates trainer is working with a new gym that is run by a Physical Therapist that specializes in the pelvic floor stuff. Pilates helps a lot but that is whole extra level. I appreciate getting to take advantage of everything she learns!

Thank you! Not a broken record at all. I was also trying to listen to my surgeon who had told me he didn't see any adhesions during the emergency laparoscopic surgery last year. Now I just know better and can take all the advice to work with it. Appreciate you!

Fingers crossed! Over the years I've often taken lateral or even demotions to learn new things. We'll see how it goes!

Hey everyone. Sorry I missed you yesterday, but it was late before I realized I hadn't even looked at the thread. Lots of running around, and I was beat.
I went too long with skipping medical appointments, in large part because of covid. Now I'm playing catchup. Since October I've had all of the appointments from the two surgeries, PCP, eyes, ears, etc. Yesterday was with my bariatric program.
There are some differences since I last saw them. There are about 8 surgeons in this group, and all of them used to have just a clerical assistant. But they were all overburdened, between preoperative stuff and aftercare. It was impossible to get seen. Now they all seem to have PAs, so the surgeons really just do surgeries.
The PA seemed great. I told her one of my concerns was getting the right labs, as my PCP admitted he was willing, but didn't know what was needed. The PA said they can take care of all that going forward. We could have a yearly appointment, either in-person or remote, just to discuss anything I needed to, and they'd take care of all the labs and follow-ups. It's just a much better system than it used to be.
I hadn't eaten all day, anticipating labwork. It was 3:30 before we got to a restaurant, and I was starvin'. So, I did not look at calories. I'm really, really glad they are required to list calories. But I have a narrow range of choices, and the numbers are the same, either in a restaurant or at home. And we normally eat out maybe once a week, so it's not a big deal.

She asked if I wanted to see a nutritionist. I said "Why, do you have one you want to frighten?"
