Probiotics

VSG on 11/06/14

I had vertical sleeve surgery 9 years ago. Is it okay to take a Probiotic like Culturelle? (Would have tried VS forum, but not much traffic there).

I'm not a medical person so you may want to check with one first, but I don't think probiotics would be a problem. We were just warned about NSAIDs and extended release meds.

I do them every day with no issues. I think they were actually recommended by my Bariatric Surgeon.

Hi there!

Also not a doctor but the top half of my surgery includes a sleeve. My clinic absolutely recommenda a probiotic. So does my GI doctor who is aware of my WLS. Cheers!
