About 2 years or so after surgery, I had a large bag of chocolate chips left over. It was a 23 ounce bag. I ate them, a few at a time, all day, right after Christmas. I finally went to log them in MyFitnesspal. 70 calories! I thought that was worth it. Number of servings per bag? 46. Ugh.
That remains the craziest thing I've had to log.

Holy crap, that's funny! I've had quite a few food-plow days over the years that I couldn't possibly log if I tried.

It takes a lot of effort, that demon is still quite strong.

Team ICE here! I have an external ice maker on the counter because ours started acting up. I need ice and TONS of it in any drink that's not hot. I cannot drink lukewarm water!
I'm sorry you had a snippy day, that's no fun. My girlfriends and I talk a lot about menopause and our irrational rage moments haha. A few of mine are on HRT patches that they claim are life-changing. At some point I'll look into that!
I slept terribly last night but I'm at the gym and headed in for class so I got that going for me!
B: hash browns eggs and bacon for the family and I think I'll have cottage cheese. The scale hasn't moved in a couple days.
L: smoked chicken quesadillas - a fan favorite
D: I'm making two batches of chili - deer venison and ground turkey. Different strokes for different folks in our house!
Have a wonderful day and I hope the fridge is dreamy! (Eww that autocorrected to creamy, glad I caught that!)

I have been doing my research on HRT and am meeting with my doc on Tuesday to see about some patches. It's interesting, I asked around amongst my similar age friends and we all were "hrt is bad" but no one really knew why, so I dug into it and apparently we all saw the same headlines some time a few decades ago that turns out was a perfect example of how data can be distorted if you don't really understand your data. Definitely not a choice for everyone for very good reasons but one I want to explore. Also, the whole review of the flawed data analysis made my inner data geek use so many four letter words that I clearly could benefit from some mood stabilization, lol

I have zero knowledge (or preconceptions) on HRT. But over the years there have been a lot of women on OH who swore by it. I think there's a point where everything has to at least be a subject for serious research.

Definitely when you don't know why you think something then it's a good reason for interrogation!

I gave up on HRT, but not because it wasn't fabulous - what I had been originally prescribed was indeed fabulous!! I felt even keeled, normal body temp and there were other benefits as well. My issue came when I had to go off it for my revision and when I went to go back on, the new PA who had replaced my original prescribing PA refused to refill that prescription saying it was the equivalent of birth control and at my age I didn't need it. Maybe not? but she was rude and bullyish about it. She prescribed me something else and I didn't care for it. I'm still looking for a new doctors office and having a helluva time.
