What's on your (SECRET SANTA) Friday Menu?

Good morning, everyone!

We got back to port about 2 hours ago. It's going to be a long day in the airport - we disembark at 8:15, an hour drive and our flight to Chicago isn't until 3:30. So lots of time to catch up on emails, read my book and figure out what happened on OH last week.

I had a bit of a struggle food wise some days. I'm used to eating regularly, so a few days I would go too long without eating, be over hungry for dinner, eat too much or too fast and end up on the metaphorical green couch. But we had a great time and I will over share details next week.

QOTD: I don't have a guess as to who sent me the wine, but I know that I will enjoy it. Kelly put "cute pens" on her list and they have Pens on board with replicas of the ship attached to a chain. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought that a dangling ship on Kelly's pen flopping around while she was trying to pay attention to her spreadsheets would make her crazy. So I passed on that idea.

I had pancakes for breakfast and I will fend for the rest of the day.

Good morning all. I helped JB do a lot of gift wrapping this morning. By helped, I mean I distracted one of the cats while she wrapped.

I've got PT in a little bit, then a lazy day while she goes up to Salem to see all her cousins. That's still too much for me.

Here are a couple photos of my Secret Santa gifts, from White Dove! The Pink Flamingo is adorable! I have about 49 pairs of readers scattered about the house so I can always use a glasses aid. And the lighted magnifier is perfect for really fine print, and pulling splinters. So perfect that I already had the exact same one! Now I can leave one upstairs, and in the shop. Perfect. Now I need another set of splinter tweezers.

That flamingo is hilarious. There's a new four part documentary on Willie Nelson; I started watching it last night but my brain was too fried to pay attention. He's seen a lot in his 90 years for sure.

there was some meme going around on Facebook a couple of years ago with a circle divided up into parts - each part being the percentage of time people spend wrapping a gift. Only like 10% of it was spent on actually wrapping the gift. 70 or 80% of it was spent moving the cat! (I just tried to google it to paste it here, but I can't find it - boo!)

What a cute idea. I need a glasses holder now.
