I totally got off of Facebook for that very reason. I don't need other people to make me feel bad about myself- I can do enough of that on my own. People post only the good things, that make themselves look better than they actually are. No one has a life that is all vacations and light. I did stay friends with some of them but muted their posts so I didn't have to read them.

The 'must be nice' comments are so ugly. I've unfollowed a lot of my facebook people for that reason.

Good Morning! Wow, that seems like a lengthy application process and I hope you hear back on it quickly. I have a few meetings and calls today but should be pretty typical. Em and her BF head towards Disneyland this morning and I'm always nervous when she's traveling so I'll be stalking her location occasionally.

QOTD: I haven't heard that term but that is definitely it for me too!

Mike and Amy - y'all are CRUSHING your goals! I'm so inspired by you. I hate being gone all week and not able to weigh. I think after flying late tomorrow night I'll wait til Saturday to get on the scale.

QOTD: vaguebooking is SO annoying. But for me it's the negativity - ESPECIALLY to strangers. Like, you have to tell someone you don't know that such and such is stupid or ugly? I always think, what must have happened to you, to make you feel hateful?

Tonight is a neighborhood Christmas party so we will wander over. I'll try to take some pics of the Christmas lights in the neighborhood. It's really next level.

B: leftover cucumber salad and a salmon patty

L: leftover hot and sour soup and a salmon patty

D: I'm assuming there will be a cheese board, so that! And wine.
Have a fabulous day, y'all!

Merry Swiftmas everyone! QOTD: There was an article today about Swiftmas and all its devotees. And most of the comments were so negative. I don't get it. Don't pass on something that people love, and that harms no one. I don't get it.

I've never been exposed to vaguebooking, since I've never been on Facebook. But it would drive me nuts if I were.

OMG being brought up Italian no words could not be any Truer. I found an Olve garden gift card at my mom's the other day. I bet it was over 10 years old. I really did not feel like making a meal, so I did curb side pickup just to use it. You think I fed her dog food. LOL

John, I keep meaning to tell everyone that we watched the Taylor Swift documentary on Netflix. I like her, not love her, and my husband wasn't a fan at all. He's now a fan and we are both impressed at how hard she actually works and what a good human she is. I recommend the show if you haven't seen it.

I know very little about her. But she's had these amazing peaks in her career, and she's still so young. She must be working like mad to do everything she does.
