Mornin' All!

all I have on my schedule today is a massage this afternoon, but I think I'll take a book over to the gym later this morning and read it (well, an hour or so of it) while I'm on some machine. Other than that, not much going on.

QOTD: probably Target since it's an all-purpose store. I try to avoid Walmart for various reasons (btw, QJB - my father's family is from Almhult, Sweden, headquarters of IKEA. I have a bunch of cousins (2nd and 3rd) who work there!)

coffee with half & half

1/2 C sweet potato casserole topped with L&F salted caramel yogurt (the creme brûlée basket at my usual store seems to have been taken over by some new Chobani flavor. Not happy. Why the creme brûlée, of all flavors? Sheesh. Will check another store today...)

protein shake or protein muffin

chocolate "mousse" topped with SF whip and raspberries

half cup chicken salad, light vanilla yogurt with 1/2 a crushed candy cane mixed in

Greetings on this Taco Tuesday,

not much planned here today. Just the usual. I am hoping that it warms up a bit so I can get my walk in outside instead of the treadmill. Today eating will be back to basics with food that has not caused me to have frequent liquid BMs (bye-bye yummy apple bread ?). Really the taste is not worth the fallout effect on the bowel. Less trips to the potty today please ?. I have been doing a chair version of 30 minutes yoga since I am still dealing with drop foot on the left (I have seen some improvement as I can minamally lift my toes of the floor). However I think I may look for a beginner yoga class with more movement. I also need to bring some weights instead for some upper body work. I am limited to 10lbs though. It is a work in progress for sure.

QJB- I might have missed it but how is the job search progressing? Sounds like the cookie business is doing very well. Congratulations on that.

QOTD: this is a tough question. I am not sure need to ponder a bit.

Foot drop can take a while to recover. I think I mentioned this once, but it took about eight months when I had it. It DID go away though, thankfully...

Glad to see you here! Did your appley bread have sugar substitutes or applesauce? Both of those have caused me issues before. Hope today is a go less day.
