I have to ask do you read the Inspector Montalbano books by Andrea Camilleri? Since they are translated I'm sure there are many nuances that I miss, as well as not knowing the country and political situation.

I have not. I looked it up on Amazon. Seems like there is also a tv show.

People believe I do not buy my own kitchen gadgets and I literally had to buy a container last week to purge the ones I do not use. How many garlic peelers and presses can one girl get. What is worse is I never found one that works better than my good old trusty knife.

QOTD- I've pretty much gotten out of the habit of in person shopping. I do love Ikea, but don't browse like I used to, I'm usually just in and out. Last time I actually got it delivered, so much nicer than trying to cram it into my car. I used to love Target before I worked there. Mostly it's Amazon.

I took my little girl Vee into the vet yesterday, she was peeing outside of her litter box. But still in a box, my laundry basket and then one of my boxes from my Ikea Kallax shelf unit. They did an ultrasound and her bladder looks good and did a urine sample to check for a UTI. After losing my Sissy I didn't want to take any chances. Hoping for just a UTI, in case it's behavioral I ordered some calming pheromone spray. I know the boy picks on her relentlessly and I'm not sure how much losing their sister impacted them. Maybe I'm just worrying too much.

Frost this morning, but it's sunny and I should get out and walk this afternoon. I used to just do it, and now it's a struggle to get myself going. Covid pretty much turned me into a hermit, and it's hard to get past it.

Have a great day everyone!

we have a pooper in our house (although I'd rather deal with that then urine - much easier to pick up!). I'd bet big bucks that it goes back to when we were in the kitchen one night and heard a HUGE cat fight in the basement between her and our sometimes-bully. I bet he accosted her when she was trying to take a dump in one of the litter boxes. We've since kept them separate at all times - and she's fine going #1 in the litter boxes - but not #2. I'm sure she's afraid of being attacked again. Anyway, long way of saying, since your boy picks on her, that could potentially be a factor...
