What's on your Monday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs,
We are inching closer to the big day, and it looks like Queen JB is out there killing it making peoples holiday Merry and Bright with her fun classes. When Ron was able to get around better, we would go to the Pittsburgh Glass center and make a new ornament every year. As we put out ornaments out this year, I really miss doing that. I would love to find some kind of class closer so we could make more keepsakes.
Let the baking begin. I got 2 Cheesecakes under my belt this weekend. I plan to start doing cookies tonight. Carrot cake cookies for the win tonight. These are my brothers favorite and I want to Suprise him Christmas day with them. They also freeze very well so I got that going for me too.

G'morning all!
Low key weekend for us. I think I'm done with Xmas shopping unless something catches my eyes for DH. He is always the hardest to shop for because 1) he buys himself whatever he wants and whenever he wants 2) he doesn't need anything, very low maintenance. I am also working feverishly on two crochet projects hoping to finish them by next weekend.
I finally switched my closet from summer to winter. I had to recruit DH to do it for me this year, because one armed. He was amazed that I do this twice a year, and I think for the first time he realized how much clothes I have. In the past he thought I was joking when I said I need to take over his corner of the closet but he sees now I was not joking. I still have to switch the shoes but I can do that by myself.
QOD - any kind of hard rock music where the guitar makes that nails on the board screeching sound.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee & protein mug cake
- Pozole soup
- L&F crème brûlée, barebells bar
- Left over pozole soup
- E: rest day
Happy Monday!

Good morning! Monday is starting off strong. I had a fabulous weekend in Vegas and had so many fun bites. I may have texted a few food porn photos to random menu-er's. Sorry! The concert was perfect and we had a blast throwing darts. Travel both ways was easy and taking over our son's house was perfect. Today though, back to carb detoxing. And yet, there is a blueberry muffin on the counter calling my name. Could be a challenge for me. We got home yesterday to company staying at our house. A friend for nearly 40 years and we had a family dinner with the kids and grands so we could all be together. She's here until Wednesday morning. She's now quite elderly, so it's a different kind of visit. Less sight seeing, more sitting and talking.
Today I've done my HITT class and I'm catching up here until it's my breakfast time. Then shower, off to the market for some dinner things and laundry. I'm all done with the grands for Christmas except for finding one pair of tights or leggings for the littlest one. Roger and I will wrap things next week and then we are all done except food. My dad is coming, so I'm going to be upping my kitchen game for him. Love to cook for him and pack up leftovers for him to take home and freeze.
QoTD There are a few that I really don't like, but right now, my most pressing memory is from dinner on Friday at a small little locals restaurant in Vegas. The serve Spanish Tapas. The food was amazing. The wine was good. The music was all tunes from the 80's redone in a sort of jazz theme. We were like oh my god they are ruining this song for life! Over and over.
food today is!
B: leftover meatball and cottage cheese
L: leftover Anti pasta salad
D: roast beef with potatoes, carrots, peas, onions. I might have a piece of baguette to soak up the juices. I'll try not too.
Peace Everybody!

Hello-I have been a bit sporadic in posting. Mainly because I have very little new to report. Same ole same ole routine of doing my PT, walking either inside or outside depending on the weather, and trying to suss out what causes me to have frequent BMs. Today I ate something that caused issues. I made a sugar-free apple bread. I am thinking it is the apples in the bread. Tomorrow I will not eat the bread to see how I do....
QOTD: I will go with the Macarena also.
I did get my gift(s) from my Secret Santa. So many fun things. Thank you Santa!
