Good morning ~ I miss rain storms like that, we rarely get them here but they are wonderful when we do. Enjoy your low key, indoor day. I had a lovely weekend. Barely nodded off yesterday even though I gave myself permission to do so but I was really busy going and doing. Work - the rest of this month will be challenging because I have extra-extra and all staff is on 'holiday time' at work, super social. Gotta close the door. I have no meetings this week, yay! Last week was brutal there.

QOTD - Easy-peasy, I'm Blue (if I were green I would die) is the song of my nightmares. It was my kiddos favorite when he was little and even my heart is beating to the song right now.

Accountability - good, but I ate an iced christmas cookie w/sprinkles that Rob made - it was really good! 194.0 this am day 5.

B- coffee with half and half x4

l - 1/2 Chipotle bowl = 256cals/26g protein

d- cheesy eggs and chicken sausage

s - beef jerky

845/75

v/w on track w/reminders -100% need these.

e - No! I did not plan for this morning and it didn't occur until this second that anything was off. I will do better.

Have a great day!

Cassettes! And then I'm sure you had one of those things that turned the cassette player into a thing that could play cds? I don't know what it was called?!?

Mornin' All!

I had a good weekend and even managed to get two Christmas cards done - I'll mail them on my way to my film discussion group meeting this morning (I hate doing them because it takes so long - but luckily I only send out a handful a year, mostly to people who aren't online. I do get some that just say "Love, So-and-so" and I suppose I could do that, too, but all that really tells me is that the person is still alive. I like to write - and read - about things they (or I) have done this year)

other than the meeting this morning, I have class this afternoon. Although my mother emailed and messaged me yesterday several times about her blood pressure. I told her to let me know this morning if she wants me to take her to her clinic or to urgent care, so who knows if I'll make it to the meeting or class. I never know what to do when she starts frantically contacting me about her blood pressure. She's become a bit of a hypochondriac in her old age, and she often takes her B/P about 20 times a day. I've taken her to her doctor and urgent care about a zillion times because she's upset about her B/P. Her PCP told her to only take it once a day, at the very most. A couple of times a week is fine, too. The PCP evidently thinks that all the anxiety over it is causing it go up - and I think she's right. So who knows. I hate to blow it off in case there really IS an issue with it, but I do think it's just because she's taking it so often and is in a frenzy over it, which just makes it worse.

QOTD: there are so many songs I hate, but like Jim, I'm not sure I want to think of one since that just means it'll be in my head all day long.. (OK - "Having my Baby" just popped into my head. Crap...now I won't be able to rid of the damn thing (i.e., the song - not the baby!))

B: coffee with half & half. May just have a protein shake before heading out to the meeting since I'm not hungry. At all.

L: chocolate "mousse" (made with cottage cheese) topped with whip and raspberries

AS: L&F or Ratio yogurt and piece of Danish rye bread (?)

D: the chicken salad we've been eating for the last three days (the recipe said it makes four servings. I'd say eight...)

ex: either walking or one of the machines at the gym

have a great day, everyone!

I can see it in your eyes, I'm happy you know it

Wouldn't put you through it

You could have swept it from your life

But you wouldn't do it, no, you wouldn't do it

And you're havin' my baby
