Good morning, everybody!

We finally made it to Costco yesterday. I had been craving Costco pizza and we each got a slice and a drink for $5.70 combined. I had to double check my receipt to make sure I actually ordered both meals. I'm not on Tik Tok, but I guess there is a trend of people having Costco birthday parties. It's hard to beat the price. I couldn't finish my slice, but it was as good as I remembered.

We also sampled some chicken Schwarma and Tatziki sauce that was really good. It's on the menu for dinner tonight. Walked around thinking about Secret Santa ideas, but didn't pull the trigger on anything yet. Tons of inventory in the store and lots of yummy foods and wine for the holidays.

Last Friday night I headed out to Crossfit and the police had closed a couple of the local roads. I'm still not sure whether it was an accident or traffic control for an event at the high school. But i didn't make it to Crossfit in time for the class, and only ended up hitting 3 classes last week. So this week I am trying to go to 5 classes plus Wednesday lifting. I think it caught up to me last night because I was getting so cold and achy. Tuesday was a long pull-up skill work session and yesterday was a lot of hanging knee raises and overhead squats, so lots of time on the bar to work my back and arms. After Happy Hour I napped from 7:30 to 9:30, woke up to watch Four Christmas' and slept from 11-6. Today will be a rest day before the weekend.

QOTD: Other than my morning vitamins and medicines, I can't really think of anything.

Breakfast: Fritatta

Lunch: Chow Mein

Dinner: Chicken Schwarma

Have a great day, all!

Good Merlinpeen everyone. It's cold outside. Same routine today, doing my own exercises, PT, etc. They take up very little time though.

We've been watching a series called Bodies. It sort of about an identical murder that takes place in 1890, 1941, 2023, and 2053. It's a little complicated, but we like it a lot. We've just been watching one at a time, rather than binging all 8.

QOTD: I don't believe I have any rituals. I have a routine, but the timing and sequence can vary a bunch. Being flexible feels more soothing to me.

Good morning ~ I would just change my window for today to 11-7 instead of 9-5 - that should cover dinner. It's been years since I did IF, so I don't remember all the rules or if that is cool, but sounds like a plan to me. Rob is planning on making Christmas cookies this weekend. He was looking up recipes and asked what cream of tartar was. I said it means you need to find a different recipe. I had a productive day yesterday and feel organized but there is always that one person at work that throws a wrench in your plan with their issues and emergencies, only I have two of them. Today I have a budget meeting all morning and a grant meeting this afternoon so the day will fly - mostly uninterrupted - yay! The weekend is almost here!

QOTD - Weekday mornings are easy - Up at 4, exercise (trying to make this permanent), feed littles, coffee, OH, journal, shower, go to work... The night time routine - floss, proxy brush, water pik, brush, retainer, mouth wash, wash face, moisturizer - it takes forever. Rob is usually asleep by the time I'm finished. Bubs, our cat waits for me. He jumps on the bed, yells at me to pet him then settles down at the foot of the bed.

Accountability - great - 194 day 2

B- coffee x 4

l- chicken, marinara, mozz+parm

d- roast beef, cheese, bell peppers - philly style

s - 100 calories pretzels

782/81

e- 20 yoga, 10 stretch

w/v - I need to drink more water and maybe less coffee? No, just more water.

Have a wonderful day!

Yes, it took them two months to get done preparing it, and now I have one day to review it.
