What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning ~ Nothing wrong with waiting for the right job for you. Be picky! It's your life, time and freedom that you are giving. Yesterday was BUSY. Mostly planned, but many unplanned sessions and chats that were highly productive so I can't even be mad. I have nothing on my calendar today except lunch and spreadsheets. I need some boundaries though with my availability to staff. It's constant, a good thing because it's fixing bad habits and clearing up misinformation, but it's a lot. What were they doing before I moved in there and was way down the hall? Winging it. I guess we are still just going through an adjustment period that I pray settles down so I can focus and get things done.
QOTD -Yes! I was 21 or 22 and the equalizer that was mounted on brackets was stolen out of my little Bronco II. I remember being upset and feeling violated, yet relieved my stereo still worked. That all that really mattered - my tunes!!

Good morning, everybody!
Six work days left in the year. Plus its Humpty Hump.
Of course Julia's post motivated me to go out and get some Butter Cookies. I got them at Walgreens, which are probably not the elite of the Butter Cookie world. But can I say that the tins have gotten really tiny! Not only are the tins only one stack deep, but they seem to have a lower circumference than in past years. Kind of a skimpy little tin. I'm working my way through them from most favorite cookie on down. You know that the pretzel shaped cookies with the sugar flakes on the outside are nearly gone.
One of my friends sent me a tax question about electronic payments. I have got nothing to offer him. I'm a corporate person and haven't prepared any tax return, at all, professionally, since 1998. I don't even do my own. And I definitely use checks. In any case, I have to come up with some answer to save face. Mainly by asking others.
Today is the usual Wednesday stuff: lifting, Crossfit and Happy Hour. We are in Mexico the 20th and will be dining with one of my nieces the 27th, so this week is a regular wine and whine Happy Hour, next week is our Holiday themed Happy Hour and that is it for 2023. I think we will have some sort of champagne ****tail for the holiday theme.
I would Love Costco pizza for lunch, but don't know if I can make it work with the schedule. To be determined.
