What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
on 12/1/23 3:06 am
Hello Hello! It's Friday! I am teaching a big class tonight and another even bigger class all day on Sunday, so my busy time is about to ramp up. Lots to do to get ready.
Here is the google form for the Menu Thread Secret Santa! Please fill it out by Sunday and I will send out the assignments on Monday :) We'll do a reveal on Friday 12/22, so please try to make sure your gift gets to your recipient before then!
Photo Friday - a Christmas Cookie I made, and the hazmat suit they gave me to put over my big sweatshirt so I could visit Grim in pre-op. Doesn't he look great in purple? ;)
QOTD: Do you read reviews before you buy things? Do you write reviews? I always read the reviews but I rarely write them. I want to get better about writing reviews for things I buy from small businesses.
Accountability: I have no idea why I can't get and stay on track but I am all over the place right now. I just keep grabbing crackers & cheese or something easy like that instead of following any kind of plan. Let's try this again.

Good Friday morning QJB and menuers!
Quick airport post this morning as I'm on my way to Quito and the islands!
Who could eat such an adorable looking cookie? Good luck with your class today, and love the pic. Sadly, no secret Santa for me this year given the travel arrangements.
QOTD- Yes and sometimes. I'm trying to get better about reviews and have done a few dozen in the last year.
Menu is airport food and protein bars. I'm test driving my collapsible water bottle and love it so far.
Pics are tiny blintzes I made before leaving last week and a teacup I bought at the antique place for when I want to be fancy. Cheers!

Quito is a lovely city, especially at night; I hope you get a bit of time to see it on your way to the ship.

You could always be my travel tip buddy!
Sadly, it's a five hour turnaround. I'll zip to the hotel I was required to get for paperwork delivery, shower, and head back to the airport for check in and luggage search. Good times!

I love the tea cup and now want a pair for my apartment. What's a good price range and a decent brand(s) for something fancy that won't break the bank?

Late reply. I paid $8 for the single and I'm not looking for full sets since storage and I'll probably only use them on special occasions. I see similar online for $14-$20, so this was cheap.
A brand I'm always looking for is Royal Albert. I'm particularly fond of their Masquerade series but haven't pulled the trigger, so to speak. :)

Yep, solo traveler all the way! It made for an interesting trip, for sure. No regrets in this life. Would do it again in a heartbeat. I mean, if cost were no object.
