YUP! LOL

Good mornin y'all! Hoping this weekend is going to be a great one!

We are currently getting a bit of snow. It is making my body hurt but we need the moisture. It's easier to get warm than get cool. It's making things sparkly too! That's never a bad thing unless you're a vampire (I'm looking at you Robert Pattinson). So we'll be staying inside today.

I'm working on Christmas presents and I'm frustrated that a certain ring size combo in a tutorial I got doesn't work like her tut says it should. I improvised and got it to somewhat work. Will work on it more today as I have a solution in mind for it to work.

QOTD: It's no secret that I Chainmaille. It's my favorite hobby I've ever done...and I've done A LOT of them. I'm a hobbiholic to the core. Whats your favorite hobby? If not a hobbyist what art do you appreciate the most?

For me...other Han chainmaille it'd have to be painting. It's one thing I wish I could do in certain ways. I can't draw or paint to save my life!

Menu is leftovers and pot pie made from left overs.

This is a weed that was/is decorated less than a quarter mile from my house. Made us laugh!

Mornin' Weekenders!

nothing on the agenda today other than starting to make another loaf of bread (buckwheat this time) and having Thanksgiving dinner #3 (with leftovers) tonight at my mother's. My niece and her boyfriend will be there, too.

QOTD: hmmm...not sure if any of my interests could be considered hobbies. As for art, I guess my favorites would be film and architecture. Although I also like early 20th century painting.

coffee with half & half

either a crumpet or a piece of Danish bread with butter and jam

skyr with cranberry sauce

protein shake (?)

salad with chicken on it

turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning ~ That meme is hilarious. Yesterday was wonderful, day 2 of Thanksgiving. We have all things Christmas out now, though still in the boxes and we watched Miracle on 34th last night. Today we are taking the dogs to the park and then I need to run a few errands. Believe it or not I braved the big Walmart on black Friday for a universal remote for the DVD player and it wasn't bad at all so late in the day. Decorating the house and having a turkey sandwich on my favorite sourdough bread are the highlights today, oh and watching White Christmas tonight. I love this long weekend, the work part is done and now for the fun.

QOTD - I'm not creative in the least and have no such hobbies! I appreciate all types art.

Accountability - I enjoyed all the tastes and bites yesterday, not overboard, just many. 197 this morning.

B- coffee x 4, cottage cheese

l - small turkey sandwich on SD bread and .5 oz of Lays potato chips

d - turkey and broc/cauli au gratin

I tried many hobbies through the years and none of them interested me for very long. Yesterday I went to Walmart at about 11:30 AM and there were less people than on a normal day and nobody in line at the checkout. Not sure what to think of that. Are people just ordering online for Black Friday?

you're probably right - I think a lot of people just order online now. A lot more options and no having to deal with crowds!

Good morning and happy saturday! I am home and very happy to be here; bit of delays flying yesterday but not as bad as I suspect today is going to be for a lot of people.

I'm sitting on the sofa, drinking coffee and trying to decide if I am going to the grocery store this morning....it's 14 degrees and I'm feeling like I've kind of already decided no. Tomorrow it should be above freezing by mid-day so I have that planned to do the outside christmas decorations, I did change the lights over last night...so easy to do in the app!

QOTD - reading is probably my biggest hobby, plus travel...and reading about travel combines them. I guess I am a bit of of a hobby photographer too.

Have a lovely saturday everyone!

Baked ham slices with pineapple sauce and maraschino cherries , eggroll filling , mashed sweet and regular potatoes, tea.

Hobbies ? Gee I have a lot of them - in a way my life consists of doing my hobbies really - cooking, gardening, loving and grooming my pets, getting dressed up creatively... going to the opera and philharmonic and modern dance ( Alvin Ailey is starting the twenty ninth - can't wait ! )

Did I mention orchid growing and non pesticide requiring fruit tree and bush breeding? Hobbies are fun !
