I am really intrigued by this bread and might order it just to see how it taste.

You have to like dark chewy bread. A little molasses based and I would NEVER order it without the raisins! Then slide out, toast, slather on butter. Breakfast is done.

I grew up eating potatoes in a can, my mom called them new potatoes? They tasted funny.

Marilyn didn't believe me that Brown Bread in a can was a thing. One day, we were at an aquarium that had an exhibit with an old cabin and right on the shelf was canned bread. With a proper amount of butter that canned bread was actually pretty good.

I recall liking it. But my tastes were simpler when I was 5 years old. I lacked the sophisticated palette I now possess.

I can still remember the molasses smell of the bread. It was good warm w/plenty of butter
