Good morning! What a nice weekend we had. Stitches are out and we are 90-95% of the way to total recovery. Just have to watch brown dog doesn't mess with the last of the healing as dogs tend to do. Watched Priscilla at the theater. Weird. Uncomfortable. Stuck between a romance and a groomer/pedophile. Can't say as I would recommend the movie.

Today I plan on hitting up Target, Trader Joe's, Costco, physical therapy and am getting my blonde back on. I will exercise patience and remember how happy I am to be retired and and have plenty of time to make these things happen.

QoTD: We only buy for the grands. And we have not bought a thing. The plan for Target today is to try and get a toy catalog so I can take it for our Thanksgiving trip and the girls can work on wish lists. I made them up a fun paper to fill in.

B: HB egg and cottage cheese

L: leftover shawarma chicken and thai salad

D: Swedish meatballs served on a little edamame pasta. Or maybe a little rice. TBD

Good morning all and Happy Monday,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. My event went well. I ended up taking it easy yesterday to recover from Saturday night.

QOTD- I shop for gifts year round. However, I shop this time of year to source product and bigger splurge purchases. I already bought Galaxy pro ear buds.

Accountability: anniversary cake, Brownie, piece of fried chicken.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt.

L: PP shake. I wish my Costco restocked Fairlife so I can buy them out.

D: ?? I'm starting a medical treatment this afternoon and have no clue if I'll even be hungry.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

G'morning all!

QJB - I love fairlife protein. Try a smoothie with it; I use a bottle of Fairlife, a shot of espresso coffee, a cup of ice, your choice of sf syrup. Blend it all and it's a holiday in your mouth.

We had a fun weekend. If it's possible I had a bellyache from laughing at Fluffy's comedy show. Even the jokes I heard I don't mind hearing them again, with a small change he makes them funnier.

We had one precious cargo land last night, another precious cargo will land Tue night, and then the house and my heart will be full. She is on a work zoom right now and I can't believe that professional voice belongs to my daughter, she is my baby how can she sound like that?

When you are in a rut you need friends to show you the light. Yesterday at my brunch with the boys' moms I was complaining I need to find a flat route for my walks while in the sling. I was saying all this while we were walking on the beach. One of them deadpanned "jeez, I don't know, if we just had a beach nearby where you could walk!" It took me a good 10 seconds to get the sarcasm and the brilliant idea. I have always avoided the beach for my runs because it's just too hard. But I don't mind walking on the sand. So starting today I'll do the beach walks and will start with 4 miles. I'm supposed to do it every day because there is no weight training. You guys keep me accountable and if you don't see me posting on my exercise portion call me out.

QOD - I have done some but not at all finished or nearly finished. I need to get everything here by mid December before we leave, so that will be my challenge.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee & almond croissant
  • Left over shredded Cuban pork
  • In-n-out protein cheeseburger
  • E: 3 miles walk.
