That m&m pic is priceless! And, Rudy does look a bit guilty.

Your love of m&m's has some history! Love it. Have fun at the gym tomorrow, and good for you prioritizing it.

Mornin' All!

actually, we just got OFF Daylight Saving Time. We're now back on standard time (almost everyone gets these confused!). We should adopt the labels they use in Japan - "summer time" and "winter time". Less room for getting them mixed up!

anyway, not much going on today. I raced over to a bakery at 7:00 AM to pick up a cronut. I've been wanting to try them for 10 years, when they were first invented in NYC. The only place that has them in Madison is going out of business at the end of the month, so this was my chance. I've been over there three or four times in the last couple of weeks to get one, and they're always sold out. The last time I went in there, I asked about them and the clerk told me to get there before 8:00 AM if I wanted one, because they're usually sold out by 8:00 AM (if that's the case, I'm not sure why they don't make more - but then, who am I??). So...I got my cronut. It was good, but not good enough to have raced over there at 7:00 AM (after making three or four unsuccessful trips over there the last couple of weeks). But at least now I know...

film group meeting today - over lunch. None of the entrees look particularly appealing or healthy, so I'll just go with the salad bar, and hopefully not overdo it (esp after eating a 500 kcal cronut this morning!). I think I'll do a virtual Zumba class for exercise.

QOTD: leggings, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin spice (there's competition for the #4 spot, so I'll just keep it at the three most important)

coffee with half & half

cronut

plain skyr with fruit

salad bar

?? something light since I will have already about hit my calorie limit, I'm afraid!!! Yogurt? Soup? A bowl of All-Bran? Not sure...

have a great day, everyone!

Sorry your cronut didn't live up to expectations. Seems to be that way with some trendy foods. I hadn't heard of thr croissant cube until JB got one. I love what you can learn here.

I have had my eye on that parmesan egg with chili oil from a while back I think DCgirl reminded me of. My mom is stuck on the idea of something called a Dutch baby. Good times.

QOTD- Football, cozy sweaters, flannel and fluffy blankets.

My adventurous kitty Sissy that I lost this week. She was brave or silly depending on which you believe or both.

So glad it's Friday, hate the time change it messes with my sleep and everything else. It is so dark now and with the rain it makes it worse, I now hate driving in the dark. I had a hair appointment at 4:15 and it was dark and the traffic was horrible going home, it ended up taking about 40 minutes to go 6.1 miles.

It's the Marine Corps Birthday, I enlisted on the 200th birthday in 1975.

Have a great day everyone!
