What's on your Thursday Menu?

Good morning and happy Thursday! The weekend is almost in sight.

Just finished my 5K row...the last part of the session was 8 tabata rows and who ever came up with that is nuts. 20 seconds at 36 to 38 and 10 seconds at your own pace or resting, I pride myself in not resting during a session but if it had been 9 tabatas, I would have had to.

Today I get to stay home all day...meetings from 6 until 3, but then I can squeeze in a second workout and spend an hour straightening up my house. Although I'll be gone, my BFF is staying here next week so she can attend a work conference up here. I just want to re arrange some of the clutter before she comes, lol.

QoTD - once I finish the days allotment of coffee, it's jus****er and tea for me. I range between regular water, hin****er, unsweetened flavored seltzers and every couple of days an LMNT in my 32 oz water bottle. Dehydration causes my orthostatic hypotension to kick in, plus it can cause a cascade of other issues, as I've learned the hardware a few times.

menu today is

coffee plus half and half X3

English muffin with PB

not sure about lunch, maybe something from the cheese drawer

bulgogi

Have a terrific jr. Friday everyone

36 to 38 is nuts. I think I've hit 34, but not much.

I can get up to 36-37 but 38 is hard to sustain for more than a stroke, lol. Alex Gregory says his race-sprint pace is 42 and I can't even imagine that.

If I had to swap bodies with someone, I'd definitely pick Alex Gregory.

It was actually Dr. Izumi Tabata who came up with it. He worked with the Japanese Speed Skating team in the 1990?s.

He invented tabatas on the rower to help the speed skating team? Fascinating!

Good morning ~ I hope you find time for a well deserved rest day. I love Chipotle and have been on a kick for a few weeks now it's just so good. Enjoy your epic tacos! Today I have a couple of meeting, then plenty to take care of. IT's been a nice week and ray it stays that way. I keep forgetting tomorrow is a holiday! Yay for 3 day weekends and on a Friday no less. Not much planned other than taking my son to the fabulous queso birrera taco restaurant for Veterans day. I couldn't even finish one last time so I'm not worried about calories and being so close to onederland. Beside, this is life and I can't get in a tailspin for every food bump. I will be careful, but roll.

QOTD - After morning coffee, I'm water - plain if I can, otherwise I will add grape flavor. I have plain and SB passion iced teas, SF MM lemonade and punch and hin****ers.

Accountability - did not eat breakfast, added 100cal mini packet of pretzels I'd been craving. 200.4 today

B- coffee, cottage cheese

l - chicken w/spicy cauli rice and w/some greek yogurt topping

d - burnt ends w/bbq sauce, stuffed mushroom, salad kit pesto caesar

s - tomatoes, 100 cal pretzels

cals 825/80g protein

Have a great day!
