Good Morning, gang! Happy Lil Friday :) I had another full day of class prep yesterday. I baked, made icing, laminated step by step directions, and made ads. I cannot believe how much powdered sugar I go through to prep for classes. I use the 7lb bags from Costco for each batch of icing and I imagine I will go through 3 of them this week alone. I might head back to Costco today to get some more today. Other than that possible errand, probably just more of the same prepping today. I'd love to be able to take tomorrow "off" since I'll be teaching on Sunday.

I had to grab a print order from Staples yesterday and it was next to a Chipotle. It smelled divine, but I decided not to spend money on it, so I grabbed ingredients from the grocery store and today I plan to make some EPIC TACOS from home today :)

QOTD: What do you drink during the day? I've mentioned before how much I dislike plain water. Ever since my lapband, water just doesn't sit right, and I am not great about hydrating, generally. I don't mind sugar free Snapples, and I have Propel water at night. But mostly--it's just hot coffee and iced coffee for me.

Accountability: I had a few bites of my pizza eggs and then felt nauseous - probably because of dehydration. So I focused on drinking a few Hin****ers which I dislike but knew I needed. I skipped lunch in lieu of hydration and ended up just having a veggie burger and cheese for dinner. Oh, and M&Ms, which I'm sure will keep happening as long as we have them.

  • Protein Coffee
  • Pizza Eggs
  • Chicken Fajita Tacos
  • More Tacos

I love sipping ice water and have a mug that keeps it cold for houts. I have had many rodeos. I started. My third at 35. There are at least three or four after that. Learned from all of them and never afraid to start over. I am watching a Christmas cookie challenge and know QJB would win it hands down.

Morning gang. We're watching the early news on tv, as we always do. It just gets depressing. I might go to old cartoons for a while instead. Bugs Bunny. The Roadrunner. Watching people do horrible things is getting old.

I've left the house once in the last two weeks. Can I be classified as a shut-in? How do I know if I'm being held against my will? Maybe I'm just bored.

QOTD: I drink a lot of diet soda. Pepsi or coke -- I buy whichever is on sale. I really stocked up in the week before surgery, since I didn't want to be hauling it all after. I think I bout about 120 2 liter bottles that week. I go through 1-1/2 to 2 bottles a day, plus quite a bit of ice. I'm amazed that JB drinks less than either one of our cats. Inconceivable.

You might be teetering on being a shut-in. When does your in-person PT start?

It's Foghorn Leg Horn For me!!!! Your soda intake is outstanding. First the difference from Pepsi and Coke are so different I have no idea how you like both, and second is the amount. I can barely drink a mini can without feeling bloated. You never cease to amaze me.

I find cans to have the most carbonation. I have a 30 ounce insulated mug, and top it off from a 2 liter bottle during the day. It makes for much less bubbles than a small can.

I've always hydrated frequently. As was worried about spending a night in the hospital without my mug! I reminded JB 8 times to make sure she brought in in the car when she came to pick me up. She did -- along with a ham sandwich. Is that love, or what?

Mornin y'all.

I have been sleeping a bit better so I am thankful for that.

My mom has an appointment with a cardiologist this morning. Other than that I don't think an awful lot is planned. She is wanting to put the lights out on the front fence. I'm just not into it this year...at all.

I'm not doing particularly well this week.

QOTD: I usually have a diet soda and water during the day. Sometimes iced tea.

B: eggs and coffee x 2

L: salad

D: ????

I hope your week gets better. Can you stay home and have some quiet time while your mom runs her errands?

I'm glad you're getting some better sleep, it can help so many other things.
