Good morning. That meme is me and not only related to light, I am on the struggle bus to get my eating times back onto a routine. It's funny that you mentioned sleeping like a toddler, QJB. I was laying in bed this morning reviewing Brown dog's needs for today and it struck me that it's like having a toddler again. If you kept your toddler in a pen with a hard plastic cone around his neck. I got some good sleep last night. Asleep by ten, up at 12 and 2 to check on brown dog and then awake about 5. Brown dog was comfortable enough that he stayed down until about 6. So I got up and got ready for my day and he's been double medicated, hard cone traded out for soft since we can watch him and taken potty. I literally had to shovel cottage cheese mixed with meds in his mouth and keep pushing it back in since he's fighting taking the meds. So yeah, toddler.

I got PT scheduled yesterday and my other little chores. But never left the house. Was too uncomfortable to leave him and Roger was golfing all day. I was successful in my food choices and drank only water all day again. My dinner last night turned out really tasty and very filling and I have left overs for a couple meals. Today, I must get to the grocery store. And the pet store to find something tasty to convince the dog to take his meds. He's going to gain ten pounds from this fiasco. Also, I got me a mini side hustle job yesterday. I am going to project manage the renovation of a friend's bathroom. He started the gut job but has too much going on in life and so I get to take over and spend his money, make major design decisions and decorate it when it's all done and he's paying me to do so!!! SO WINNING.

QoTD: I get the breathe and stand notifications. But I often set ones for myself in the later evening hours as I am winding down and things pop into my head that need to get done. That way, when I wake up, my watch says stuff like Mail the birthday card.

Menu:

B: the last of my shakshuka eggs. Sad to that end

L: leftover from last night, roasted butternut squash and sweet potatoes with Boursin, Mozz, bacon and dried cranberries.

D: TBD Grocery shopping is desperately needed!

Peace Everybody.

That sounds like a fun project for you! Bathroom is the top of the renovation list at my house if I get to that! Good luck wrangling brown dog. Guess it's a good thing he has the energy to have opinions about medication!

Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs.

Hope you, Monty, Lana and everybody else going through something is feeling better soon.

As you all know today is election day and the end of the day cannot come soon enough. I will be so glad to be done with this campaign stuff. However, when he wins it will take off some mom duty stuff so it will make things a little easier for me.

As soon as I am done here at work I need to head to the polls and ask for votes. I didn't want to use PTO time for this so I'll just stop after work.

Hoping you get some peace soon, and after reading back through some threads I've missed...just overall peace in your life. Too much loss. I'm sorry.
