Thanks! It's out in nature and I've already hiked around in the nearby state park. Summer weather today, so making the most of it!

We will be in Thailand next fall, but we are going as part of a cruise.

Nice! Your travel calendar stays full. Pretty sure my primary destination will be Chiang Mai, so no cruise ships there, sadly.

Wow my work does nothing like that. They just lock me in my cell and tell me to work. See where that gets them. I am typing to you guys and not working. LOL

Aww. Sounds like you don't have windows, either. That's a big one in my office. They keep re-laying the cubes out, lowering walls and packing spaces together. We're all on top of each other now. We have boxes I affectionately call coffins where you can go and camp to take meetings. It's nice to get out and hug a tree for a day and not talk about work...even though I'm here early and trying to catch up on emails and calls. Ha. Glad you're here with us.

A lantern festival sounds a bucket list worthy event. How long of a trip are you thinking?

Depends on a few things, one of which is a travel companion. I pinged one of my exes and he's super interested in going. I'd like to take a couple of weeks and visit a few countries since I haven't been to Asia before. He might not have that much time. If I go solo, probably a targeted week just for Yi Peng. I'm tossing around how much I can wing it and how much might need to be structured so I don't get lost or worse.

I like Japan, but that's a bit far from Thailand. We really liked Shanghai, too.

it's hot as blazes in Thailand, so something flow-y and cool! I thought I would DIE from the heat! (but then, I live in Wisconsin, so..)
