Oh no! What was wrong with the pup?

He got some sort of a puncture wound at the doggie daycare and it became an abscess. That erupted (probably just before we arrived to pick him up) and caused a deep, deep wound and caused necrotic tissue around the eruption. He's got an incision about 6-8 inches long and a drain in. Really, really gross looking, before surgery and after. He has 8 rounds of medicine a day. And this is a dog who does not take pills very well. He just turned up his nose at cottage cheese. I tried pill pockets and he spit those out, so I had to force them in. Nothing like adding insults to his injury. Poor dude.

Oh no. That's terrible. I hope he bounces back fast.
