Suns up Teenie is up. I cannot sleep if someone is awake, or the sun rises. I was up at 5:30 on vacation because south of the equator the sun comes up early.

Good Morning! Sounds like a busy weekend and please take care of your knee, rest it as much as you can. It's still too recent of a memory for me of when I was recovering from my ankle surgery and John broke his knee. I hope your tummy feels better too! My weekend was good, I also enjoyed the extra hour of sleep. I did work a few hours but I was able to do it from home so not bad and today is payroll day- it'll be busy for sure.

QOTD: I feel like I'm generally a positive outlook type of person but what you are describing sounds exhausting long term but for something like a class I might get into it. If I'm honest, I'm sure I'd cry.

Good morning and happy monday! The first monday in November and the rest of the year is about to fly by.

I'm back from my long weekend, got around 8 miles of slow walking in every day, ate all the good food and drank all the good drinks and still came home 1.2 lbs lighter. I know it's just normal fluctuations but that's a win in my book.

QOTD - I am relentlessly positive but also deeply sarcastic. I'm adult enough that I don't try to tell anyone what or how to be. People are just doing the best they can for the most part. If focusing on the positive works for them, great; if they need to articulate the negative to move through it, great (-- my rule for myself is that I can complain about something 3 times and if I am not doing anything about it then sI top complaining but that's for me, not for anyone else). I will admit I do glaze over or change the subject with some people that just dwell too much. I also would not love the woman you described because she's trying to force her way on everyone else.

I've got my active minutes and my 5K on the rower in this morning, caught up on my emails. I will probably do something else this after too -- I also have to go to the UPS store to pick up some packages I had held, get ready for a quick 1 day business trip and maybe do some laundry. Busy monday.

menu today

cheese curds

Tbd on dinner, probably depends on the errands

Have a great day everyone!

Take the win and RUN!!!!

I love the idea of being able to complain 3 times about a situation, and then either change the situation or move on.

Good morning all and Happy Monday,

It's a beautiful day to be alive.

This sentence fits well into the QOTD. I find myself saying things that are positive and true. My mood may not echo the feelings behind the positivity. However, personally, it is better for my day to day than the alternative of letting my mind twist things negatively. I totally understand not having any of that noise since a lot of it is totally fake. I was in that boat until the last couple years. Like who are these people kidding? It turns out that I am kidding myself into a better mood.

It was a decent weekend. I enjoyed family time, Paula time, self care time, and a little time outdoors. I had a contentious board meeting that I walked out of for a few minutes. My efforts are in vain a lot of the time. I'm starting to realize that my time can be better spent volunteering elsewhere. I'm going to consider shifting more time to another organization that I volunteer at or find something additional.

QOTD-see above.

Accountability - I'm eating very poorly. This weekend, I had 3 pieces of Halloween candy, a biscuit, pasta, Buffalo Wings, fried rice, and an egg roll. I'm a monster that needs to be put back in it's cage. I can't change the past but will make better decisions today (more of that desired positive thinking to actualize)

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt.

L: Steak salad, blue cheese, pecans, dried cherries.

D: Chicken Madera, mashed cauliflower.

S: string cheese.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
