Amy, I hate those conversations and good that you have someone that can sit in with you.

Good morning, everybody!

2018 I had WLS, I'll never eat candy again

2019 I'll probably eat candy again but not now my friend

2020 COVID

2021 Nom, Nom Candy!!

2022 I'm going to try that one

2023 Same

I had a Twix Bar and some M&M's. Not an angel, but no blowout either. Because of the weather, we have more leftover candy than I would like in the house. As long as I just eat one full size piece a day, I am fine with that, but I don't want to be having any more than that. Last year, I kind of lost interest after a day or two, hopefully that happens again.

It was cold and snowy, so our attendance was down. We got about 100 trick or treaters (including some sneaky repeaters who Marilyn let slide). The past two years have each been about 350 kids. Once the sun went down, traffic just dropped completely off. I also noticed that the parents looked really cold, so I'm sure that most of them brought the kids home to warm up.

I did make it to Crossfit and did 5 hanging knees to elbows without getting off of the bar, which I was happy about. Today I have lifting in the morning and Crossfit in the afternoon. Not sure if Happy Hour is on because some of our group is wine tasting in Oregon. We didn't go out because of other commitments.

Breakfast: English muffin

Lunch: Turkey sandwich

Dinner: Steak

Have a great day, all!

Your candy consumption sounds like the perfect balance: enjoy it, not feel deprived but not throwing in the towel.

Rob ate so much candy he was sick all night. He insisted I bring the leftovers to work. He had them packed up and read to go as I went out the door this morning.

CrossFit and Candy bars! I say they go together especially after 5 hanging knees to elbows on the bar!

Mornin' All!

ate way too much cheese (and a few of the pao de queijo, which are made with tapioca flour and cheese, that I made to take to the party) last night, so I not only blew way over my calorie limit, but I'm feeling like the Michelin man this morning. SO waterlogged. Wednesday is my official "weigh day", but I'm not getting on the scale today. I will tomorrow morning, when some of the excess water has moved out. Plus it will be a very light eating day today. Why on earth do I do this to myself? UGH! I have a massage at 11:00 this morning. I usually look forward to those, but I'm worried I'm still going to feel like a blob by then. Nothing else on the agenda for today, so I'm going to use it to get caught up with classes (again...)

QOTD: We didn't participate in trick or treating (gave up years ago since we hardly had any trick or treaters) - plus I was at the party and DH didn't get home from work 'til around 8:00.

coffee with half & half

protein shake

not sure what else I'll have today, but it'll likely be things like Ratio yogurt and maybe a couple additional protein shakes. I hate feeling like this. I must have felt like this every day when I weighed over 300 lbs. UGH!!!

hope everyone has a good day!!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Glad to hear you were able to control the candy consumption. I did not eat 1 piece of candy myself so I am on the winning side of Halloween as wee. Good for us!!!

I was so glad that Lana check in. I am so sorry she is going through this. Is this everyone's biggest fear or is it just me?

Ok it is 32° and Rudy acted like it was a beautiful sunny day on his walk. UGH, he moseyed along like he did not have a care in the world as I was freezing. It did not help that the Trick or Treaters had litter all over so there was a lot of new stuff to sniff on. May cannot get here soon enough.

With vacation and campaigning and everything else I never had time to change out my winter and summer clothes. The clothes aren't that bad since they're in the spare room closet but all my winter shoes are in the attic. I have 1 pair of cowboy boots I can pass of as winter shoes. So tonight, I need to get in the attic. It's an easy climb not too big of a deal but, we have had bat issues in the past and with me getting a new roof last week I am afraid there may be bats up there. So tonight, will be a bit scary going up there.

QOTD: We got mobbed the first 1/2 hour. The older kids do not even make an effort anymore. So, sad. But the littles and the proud parents make me feel warm and fuzzy. So, I would say about 25. I live next to a housing development and just one street away they get hundreds. I am happy with my 25.

Accountability: I have a sweet cinnamon cream cheese dip with caramel I been dipping apples in.

TSS: 5 years 10-months 21-days 160.8 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF coffee mate chocolate caramel creamer

MS: L&F Toasted Marshmallow Greek Yogurt and berries,

CB: Coffee with SF coffee mate chocolate caramel creamer

L: crack chicken and snack select

D: Chicken thighs with Korean BBQ sauce

Exercise: Dog walking.

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy
