I was so happy that my last position (which I had for 16 years) was a professional job with no supervision duties. Thank God! I HATE supervising people, for that very reason. There always seems to be that one person... When my boss there was promoted into another position, they made me the interim supervisor. I think they thought I would be overjoyed with this - but I was not. When they were recruiting for the "real" position a few months later, they were shocked that I didn't apply for it. I just wanted to get back to my old job, where I just had to worry about what I was doing, not myself plus everyone else. So yea - I get it!!!
