What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Good morning! It's November 1st! Yikes. How can time fly like this?
Yesterday was great. I finally had the time to slog through a billion job posting and I was happy to get a lot of applications out the door. More of the same today. I also need to practice for my interview tomorrow and choose my final outfit.
QOTD: Did you get many trick or treaters? We had a lot fewer than past years but the ones who came were adorable. We closed up shop a little earlier than in typical years but even if we hadn't, I think we probably got 1/8 of the typical number of kids.
Accountability: I did okay with the candy. I had 4 mini chocolates all day which wasn't perfect, but way better than in previous years. I had a second protein coffee in lieu of breakfast or lunch, but we ended up getting pizza for dinner so... that happened (and will continue to happen because there is pizza in my fridge).
- Protein coffee x2
- chicken
- pizza
I have not had Trick or Treaters in many years. I enjoyed all the costumes on Facebook this morning and especially the ones with their cats and dogs in costume. I hope you hit on the perfect job for you. No matter how many times in my life I have interviewed, it is still a nervous feeling for me to hope I have the right outfit and answer the questions correctly.
I know they will be very impressed when they talk with you and eager to get you on board.
Last night I had Gordon Ramsey Fish and Chips frozen dinner and it was the best frozen meal I have ever had. The fish is nice big pieces and so are the potatoes. You do cook in the oven and you do need some malt vinegar. Frozen fish dinners are usually more breading than fish but this is much more fish than breading. They are at Walmart.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
G'morning all!
Nov already? That means Thanksgiving plans, and getting flights for the kids, and then Xmas plans and again getting flights for the kids. Nobody listens to me that the earlier we get these flights the cheaper they are. Everybody waits till the last minute.
QJB - May the force be with you for your interview even if it's not the job you want. Who knows, they might like you a lot and willing to make changes. I know if it's school district they don't have much wiggle room, but one can only hope.
QOD - we had our usual amount of kids. Went through 3 Costco size bags of candies and had to turn off the lights at 8:00 because no more candies were left. I offered pb&j bars from Trader Joe's to the last group and the little girl very politely looked at the bar, picked it up, looked at it front and back, put it back in the bowl and said no thank you! I couldn't help but laugh. We had kids as young as 3, and teenagers as old as 16-17. Even some parents. It was fun and lots of cute/funny costumes.
Accountability: 4-5 Halloween almond joy chocolates.
My meals yesterday:
B: coffee + barebells bar
L: Costco egg bites
S: see accountability
D: crab ceviche + quest chips
E: nope
Happy hump day!

There's coconut, my favorite fruit; cocoa, from beans; and almonds. It's all part of my plant-based diet.
