Good morning ~ That meme is everything I'm feeling and then some. Glad to hear Grim is home and progressing. Those clam strips look amazing! I was able to completely move my whole office with the help of some maintenance guys I bribed with Quest chips and Slim Jims to do some heavy lifting. That guy's stuff is still in my office, but at this point I don't care. I'm settled and I hilariously have about 10 people wanting to pack it up and move it into the hall for me because they can't believe his PA behavior. Sometimes I really love my job, it's the people ya know? Today is a short day of wrapping up the week and getting ready for next week. Meeting kiddo for lunch, errands and home. Mellow weekend planned, the usual.
QOTD - Everyone has always said I looked exactly like my mom but I don't see it. I'm a mix of their facial features and I have my dads thick curly hair, crooked teeth and very Irish skin which is different from my 5 siblings who were all towheads w/pin straight fine hair, perfect teeth and beautiful skin that tans like my mom. I used to wonder if I was the milkman's daughter, but DNA says he's my dad for reals
Accountability - No breakfast and no dinner. Lunch was a real good enchiladas - way off plan. Really busy day and way too much coffee.
203 today
cals 727/76g protein - rough guesstimate for lunch today
b - coffee x4, cottage cheese
l - jersey mikes sub in a tub
d - homemade baguette pizza
s - beef jerky
Have a great weekend!

Saturday I was really tired and slept most of the day. Sunday I started coughing but cough medicine stopped it. I stayed tired and went to a scheduled appointment Tuesday morning. I remember walking to the bathroom and then coming too. They told me I had passed out and they had called an ambulance.
At the hospital the COVID test was positive. I passed out two more times at the hospital. They kept me here and I have had every test they could think of. I am feeling a lot better and going home today. I was dehydrated and on IV. Yesterday one of the doctors was flirting with me. I thought that was good for a laugh but then another one came in and was super friendly. I I thought how can they be interested in a 75 year old woman in a hospital bed?
This morning I would be able to walk to the bathroom and look in a mirror for the 1st time. The IV plumped up my skin and made me look years younger. Not the ideal way to look younger but it did a good job.

So scary! I'm glad you were somewhere they could call for help! Do you have a life alert or other monitoring system at home in case it happens again?

My Apple watch will call 911. I keep it charged and on almost all the time. I will see a doctor on Monday and use a walker. I am glad that they caught me and I did not hit my head or get hurt. A fall can really change your life. The swelling is really going down so my beauty treatment is over.
