You be shocked to know, one of the first things I looked up was how much a titanium knee weighs. They've actually done studies, weighing the amount of bone removed, and the weight of the implant. It adds about a pound per knee.
I was not happy.
6'3" tall, male.
Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
Congratulations, Matt! Your weight will go down as the fluids wear off. You may have a couple of pounds in that foot

Mornin' All!
Good news on the job interview! Even if it's not what you want and you end up turning it down, at least it verifies that you're an attractive candidate and that other interviews are likely to come your way.
I have my book group meeting this morning and class this afternoon. I'm still fighting this cold/cough/headache thing, but it seems to be on the mend. I had a fever Friday and Saturday so I ended up canceling some plans, but that's gone now. I just wish the rest of this would clear up. I took four COVID tests (on different days) - all negative - so I'm not sure what this is - although DH unfortunately has it now. UGH. Hopefully he won't pass it on to his mother.
QOTD: no. It's gotten as low as the 40s at night, but in Wisconsin, that's sweater/sweatshirt weather. It's supposed to get up to the 60s/low 70s for the next few days, so I won't even be putting on that much (i.e. a sweater or sweatshirt).
coffee with half & half
protein pumpkin pancakes topped with plain yogurt and SF cranberry compote
the last of the chocolate "mousse" (before it rots, I hope...) with raspberries
pumpkin yogurt?
Danish bread with butter and jam
salad with some kind of protein
ex: I'll bus to class today and get off the bus a few stops early (and walk the rest of the way)
have a great day, everyone!

Good morning, everybody!
Marilyn didn't get in until about 11:15 on Thursday evening, we got home at about 12:30 and then had to go back to the airport to pick up DD at 8:00 on Friday morning. So, I didn't get to post or even read, but hopefully I can get caught up tonight. I'm way behind on Lisa's adventure!
We drove down to Cincinnati on Friday afternoon, and got in around 8:00 PM. Had drinks and pizza Friday evening. The game Saturday was at noon, a really nice, fall weather game. The Cincinnati stadium is really cool, 99 years old, right in the middle of campus in kind of a Bowl. And Baylor actually won!
Yesterday we drove home slowly, stopping to meet DD's friends for breakfast and then lunch. They all seem to have baby fever.
Today, I am back in the office.
QOTD: I brought my coat to the game but didn't wear it. One of DD's saying is "surviving the cool 80", so she was all bundled up with a hat.
Breakfast: Frittata
Lunch: catered
Dinner: Pot Roast
Have a great day, all!
