What's on your Monday Menu?

Good Morning! Happy Monday! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Mine was nice but very very busy (if I owe you a text or email - apologies, I was slammed!) I worked my butt off on cookie stuff, and then we took a nice drive yesterday to run an errand, but we took the scenic route and got to see some beautiful autumn leaves and hit up some apple orchards while we were there :)
I also want to share that I have my first job interview next week! It's for a job in education and it has a long commute--two things I said I would never do again. But a job is a job.
We are leaving this afternoon for a night away in Maine. We are meeting my youngest niece for dinner, then going to a concert and staying over night. Depending on timing today, we might also take a leisurely scenic route up the coast and stop at a Clam Shack along the way :)
I definitely won't be starting the thread tomorrow but hopefully I can check in while I am on the road.
QOTD: Have you had to wear a coat this season yet? I haven't, but I think tonight will be my night. It's going to get down to freezing in Maine tonight/tomorrow morning!
My best guess for food today is:
- Protein coffee
- Egg white bites
- Clam strips or lobster roll
- Burger with brie
- High Weight before LapBand: 200 (2008)
- High Weight before RNY: 160 (2015)

- Maintenance Weight: 120 (2017-2019)
- Battling Regain Weight: 135 (current)

Good mornin everyone!
My weekend was so so. Nothing bad per se. Other than increased pain. But that's the usual. So I can't complain of the other stuff.
Not sure what all I'll be able to do today. I'm waiting on a call of course from the neurosurgery office. I'm hoping they call early. We do have the kids after school but not much else we "have" to do.
have a fabulous trip QJB and Grim! I want to visit Maine so much so I'm a little jealous lol
QOTD: jacket yes coat no. Only a jacket because it was windy and around 37°. They are saying we may have our first freeze in the next 10 days.
B: oatmeal and coffee x2
L: ????
D: also no clue. Prob a open face sandwich.
a meme and earrings!

Hopefully they call early or you can reach them early so you're not trapped at home all day (unless you want to be, lol).

Mornin' gang. I thought I had a well planned week, but now it's up in the air. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, but I got a denial letter from the insurance company on Saturday. I called and sent copies to everyone I could think of, but being the weekend, heard nothing back.
Take a look at the denial. It seems almost comical. I'm hoping it's an easy fix, once i reach the surgeons office, but if not I'll have to postpone surgery.

That's ridiculous! I hope it gets worked out. Insurance companies are such a pain in the ass.

I said the same thing, but the paperwork actually says that if he moves forward without the approval, it will automatically be denied :(

With my husband they were life saving surgeries and they did deny them but I always won the arguments. The insurance company finally assigned an advocate who did that fighting for me. Worse case scenario with the knee replacement is that it would be postponed until this is straigntened out and a doctor might do that today. Keeping my fingers crossed.
