You must not have endured the Irishman! Three hours that felt like 30

Mornin' All!
PT this morning (upper arms and shoulders - have been dealing with this since July). It's helped for sure, but not 100%. Last time I went she put me on a "maintenance" plan to help prevent flareups - although I still have some pain. I have a different therapist today. I'll see what he thinks. Maybe this is just the way it'll be from now on - although at least I can now get dressed without a lot of pain and reach up into my upper cabinets.
we're both sneezing and coughing and last night I had a slight fever. We've tested for COVID - me three times in the last few days. Nope. All tests were negative. So???
I have a social event tonight (the monthly "Not Just Wine & Cheese" party), but that's it. Hopefully I can spend some time with my sister this afternoon since she leaves for home (Nevada) tomorrow.
QOTD: I took them for a year after surgery because my clinic required it. That was a few years ago when they weren't as aware of the risks. I think they just have the patients take them for three months or something now - unless they have issues. My heartburn isn't as bad as it was before surgery (it completely went away for the first three years, but it's. back now - but fortunately, pretty mild). I usually take a magnesium-based OTC antacid tablet for it (because I'm not supposed to take anything calcium-based, like Tums) - or if that doesn't work, generic Pepcid AC.
I need to watch my eating today since I have the party tonight, and there will be lots of wine and food. Ugh.
protein pumpkin pancakes topped with plain skyr and fruit
coffee with half & half
Ratio yogurt (?)
Danish bread with butter and jam
I'll have something with fat, fiber, and protein before going to the party so I'll be less likely to overdo it.
have a great day, everyone!
oh the food and wine will be great! It's just that that means potentially (or more like "probably") more eating and more calories. I have a hard time navigating these things somehow. Hopefully there will be raw vegetable trays there that I can pile my plate with (along with a couple of decadent treats, of course...)
