Sooooo I called the neurosurgery clinic at tech again. Talk about confusing. Turns out it's in the same clinic I went to last year so I'm able to get in to be seen again! They'll likely need new imaging but I should find out Monday when I can get in. Woot! Good news at last.

I wouldn't think Texas is a healthcare desert but there sure seems to be a shortage of doctors and specialists to support the needs. I'd go to that appointment unless they expressly tell you it's canceled. Falling sucks...I'm sorry it made things worse.

Good morning QJB and happy Friday!

Busy work day today, that's a theme lately! It's my aunt's last day here and after I get done at work we are going to see Killers of the Flower Moon and then to dinner. I'll let her pick from a curated list of places (ie the three places we can walk to from the theater), I will still be home in my PJs like kermit before 9. Weekend plans are up in the air, my bestie has been sick this week and as much as I want to go to the Shining Ball, I also don't want to get sick so we are playing it by ear. If we have to reschedule, I will enjoy a weekend at home; if we don't have to reschedule, I will enjoy a Saturday evening caught in Stephen King's version of the 1920s, lol.

QOTD - I have never taken a PPI, I can count on one hand the number of times I've had heartburn and all were pre WLS. It wasn't part of my practice's protocol either (or maybe just not for me).
