What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
I spent 5 hours at the ER Friday and had a CT scan with and without contrast. They found nothing at all - said all my organs look good and I had no emergency which is a good thing! They also checked my urine to see. No issues there. Their recommendation is to check in with my GI team and perhaps get an endoscopy to see if the ulcer has returned. In the meantime, my only beverage is water and I'm eating the most boring and bland menu. Soup, cream of wheat, salad, protein bars, cottage cheese, tuna. It's feeling significantly better but still not "normal". Maybe I needed a health scare to stop eating and drinking like an asshole lol
Good morning, everybody!
I went for a flu shot this morning, so I'm riding on a different train and from a different town this morning.
I'm looking forward to this weekend. CrossFit tonight and tomorrow morning, two good football games tomorrow (Julia, I know you will be watching Oregon/Washington), and I may go up to Wisconsin on Sunday to try out my new fly rod.
Marilyn is going out to Massachusetts for a few days to help her Dad with something, so I will drive her to the airport on Saturday evening.
Unfortunately the weather forecast doesn't look great, so I'm not sure if I will be able to go Sunday, but the salmon are in the Lake Michigan rivers to spawn.
I have some pictures of 80 percent of the fam, and the rooftop accessory not to be named. I think that I will save the ironworks for next week.
