It's going to be a great day. I found a solution to my insurance not approving the CT scan. I am heading to get a CT scan shortly and will pay out of pocket. I wish I would've known previously that I was able to get an outside scan that would be accepted for the robot assist. The cost isn't nearly as bad as I imagined. Now let's see if it can get to the surgeon by Thursday afternoon.

Positive mantras are integral this week. Bad Energy out, good energy in. Serenity Prayer. Let go and let God. Gotta show up to grow up.

QOTD- I really like dressing up for Halloween but I think my annual costuming is behind me. Dressing up as Don King may have been my favorite costume.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: PP shake.

D: Chicken fricassee or trying Chrissy's suggested chicken crack recipe. I like the idea of knowing multiple dishes that are called chicken crack. The other that I like is dry chili chicken, which is a Szechuan dish.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

I was today's years old when I learned that you can negotiate when paying out of pocket. I used car sales negotiation strategy and got a reputable place down to $250. First quotes were anywhere from $450-$1600. I found a discount medical imaging company on the Web. They contracted with places throughout Chicago. They offer transparent pricing on their site so it made it much easier.

I would've taken care of this headache weeks ago had I known the price.
