^^^^^MEEEEEEE in a meme ^^^^^

Good Morning! We made it to FriYAY! I hope everyone has a great weekend planned.

Thanks for the words of encouragement yesterday. I am going to be fine, it's just so disheartening to open your email and be rejected again and again. I know I don't need to take it personally, but some days are just a little harder than others.

I got a few important things done yesterday but we decided to take out a friend who has all the things going on out for lunch, so that was a nice mid-day distraction. Lunch was yummy and I took the leftovers home and had them for dinner, too. But it was weird, I had no reaction at lunch, but oooooh-- about 20 minutes after eating dinner I got so itchy. From my scalp down to my toes and even my eyelids and ears felt itchy and I had big hive blotches on my chest arms and legs. It's weird though because obviously I had the same thing for lunch and had no reaction, so I have no idea what it was.

Nothing happening today or this weekend. Just more of the same. Boring stuff but I'll be happy to get it all done. I think today will be dough making day. If I am smart I will make 24 batches to roll out and freeze for later.

Pics are:

My favorite lighthouse. We finally went!

The ceiling of the Boston Opera house where I saw a show last weekend.

Cookies!

QOTD: How often do you think about the Roman Empire? If you haven't been following this, social media has determined that it's a pretty good delineation between men and women because most men will say at minimum a few times a month, and most women will say never. I was solidly in the "never" category, but now that everyone is talking about it, I can't say that anymore. Anyway, if you haven't asked the people in your life this question--do it! The answers are wild.

Accountability: totally off plan due to the unexpected lunch out

  • Protein coffee
  • Babybel cheese
  • Chomps meat stick
  • Chicken

Good morning menu crew!

Checking in from a rest stop somewhere on I-80 in Pennsylvania. It's about naptime.

I definitely vote for Gilbert's chowder over any of the others this week so far. I didn't get to leave town until almost 1pm since I had to sit and work. There are a few more places I didn't get to go...but they're saved. Maybe later.

QOTD- Occasionally. Yesterday, in fact. I was pondering interstates while driving and my mind took me down the rabbit hole of history.

Pushing west after a nap. Maybe lunch, protein bag and water otherwise.

Pics are Portland, the dogs squaring off with a seagull, and a bag full of deliciousness from Billy's chowder house. Yes, I went to both! Cheers.

So glad you've had a great trip(despite the fall)!

Someday I hope to see the ocean.

When I was little I thought lake Ontario was the ocean because it had waves and whitecaps of its own. You can make it!

And thanks. I'll make a push for home starting this afternoon. It'll be a long one, so we'll see!

Good mornin everyone.

Last night was pretty awful. Every time I woke up, all 5 times, I was almost yelling oh my god. I'm really sick of this **** is all I can say, Tylenol doesn't do crap. Ugh. Hoping to hear from the Medicaid people soonish. I'm in just so much pain and completely exhausted.

Not sure what is planned for the day. I'm sure the thrift store. Maybe to get some groceries. I'd rather stay home but the kids are out of school here today and Monday and that means the methhead neighbors should be home all day. Last night the gf sat by the dumpster filming over here with her cell phone. No reason as my mom was just playing on her iPad.

QOTD: I'm a history nerd so I think of it more than I probably should. I watch a lot of documentaries about it when they come out.

b: hard boiled eggs and oatmeal

l: salad with undetermined protein

d: ????

my pics are of a weird me holding Percy and some of the other residents with the hat on.
