Costco's had theirs out for a least a couple of weeks. It's nuts!

Cracker barrel had Xmas things out in September. It was a new record and I took a picture to commemorate.

Also, apple cider donuts are awesome! I tried two kinds in Vermont. The second were nefariously tossed in sugar...so good but so bad. Shelburne Orchards. Mmm.

It's probably the best food on the planet. The best place is close to where my parents live and they give them to you fresh out of the fryer, piping hot.

Good morning ~ That meme, yes, everyday should be that good. Sorry you having a hard time in the job market. I though you were still all about the education sector. What you are you looking for again? The market is all over the place right now.

I just had another staff person put in notice to leave/switch departments. We have no path in my unit to move up and that is going to change today. I've been fighting for this and keep getting put off. Government is so slow to act, a lot of wasted time. Who is going to do the work of the 2 people I'm down now? the other 2 staff? How long are they going to stay while being overworked? I don't know how much more I can take. I'm at that point myself considering this past year... Do I have 10 more years in me here? I just don't know. All in the hopes of climbing that ladder and do i even want it anymore? Do I want the top tier stress? Rob started a new job this past Monday that he loves. Highly respected office, he is treated very well and works 100% from home. They need office staff and Rob wants to introduce us. It would be less money but if I got a job 100% from home this would mean we would buy that RV and will hit the road while working, looking for our Shangri-La. Sounds dreamy and scary. Stay the course or jump ship? Quality of life...

QOTD - I remember country drives for fall foliage as a kid. Now, the are simple-silly and it all kick off with Starbucks PSL lol, football, decorating the house and tons of scary movies. I love to hike in the fall in the cool/crisp weather.

Accountability - Impulse, not out of hunger - I hit the snack basket last night and had an unplanned bag of quest chips that put my cals a little over 1000. And I'm still 208 today. I'm blown away that it's so steady with all I am eating and not fluctuating or gaining.- This has never been my MO.

Speaking of quest - that cookie... even though I ate the whole thing I would not recommend, nothing has changed. The Quest chips sucked too - salty nacho flavoring is really good but I don't like the chip itself.

B- coffee x2, cottage cheese, tomatoes

l - Chipotle bowl -320cal, Steak, black beans, fajita veg and salsa.

D- cheese omelet

That's a hard decision! I hope that it comes to you...what you should do. I have a feeling you do know what it is you want to do. Money only does so much if you're miserable at your job. Plus I would love your plan if you worked from home!

I once took at $10K pay cut to move from a high-stress job that was terrible for my mental health to go back to the university. I went back and forth on this for days - $10K was A LOT of money. But I didn't know how much longer I could last in that other job - I was miserable. So I jumped. My mental health was worth every single penny. I would do it again if facing that decision.

We are talking roughly $20-25K for me to make the move. I also have amazing benefits. My mental Health is worth it though.
