I'm hoping for an HR management position in the Ed-Tech sector but basically any corporate setting would be fine. I just don't want to go back to managing K-12 schools if at all possible.

it seems like your skills/knowledge would be wanted in the Ed/Tech sector given your background in education. Maybe it's just the timing?

Ahh, got it. Hmm hmm. HR management in general seems to be hard to break into outside of entry level positions...they all seem to want 10+ years of experience or you to have written the HR manual. I hope the market opens up more! Don't give up. You have the skills!

I was a Director of HR for a long time--it's just that all of my experience is in the K-12 sector. I might as well have a degree in biology because the same job in different sectors is just impossible to break. I also worry that the AI who is reading my resume sees the last year off and doesn't know I was in school and not just unemployable.

Thanks. My dogs are works in progress and it's on me to manage them. Old boy gets scared and moves unpredictability. Young boy gets excited and behaves predictably in strong ways. Put the two together and you can understand why we don't do crowds! There was some public good going on yesterday though. :)

Thanks! I now have two more boxes of bandages to supplement the little first aid kit in my car. It's amazing what people end up having in their bags and purses. Sadly, I don't carry one!

Hello! I just finished lunch in Thessaloniki, Greece. I had the most amazing tzatziki I have ever had in my life. More like a burrata cheese base than sour cream. Yes please.

I'm all about the food on this trip. So many great options.

hope you all have a great day!
