Plus one you this. I'm 2k miles into a trip and one thing I packed in with me is the electrolyte water. It helps in my case.

Good morning and happy Tuesday!!

I have a busy day ahead, all day work meeting, plus a dermatology appt and a work out with my trainer. She's going to kill me to welcome me back,I am sure. I also need to sweep mop the house tonight and I really do want to get all 74 of my activity minutes since I have been letting my Fitbit down since this cold started, lol.

QOTD - yes, I've always thought it would be interesting. I am fascinated by how smooth the beekeepers are and how they rarely get stung because they know all the tricks.

menu today

coffee plus half and half X 2

pb toast (the boring home kind, lol)

pumpkin yogurt

maybe I'll make some taco meat for taco tuesday!

Have a great day!

Good morning ~ Ha, great meme. I had a very nice day yesterday at work. Really productive w/helpful and positive staff/coworkers - teamwork makes the dream work. I don't feel like running away anymore, my workload is under control - for now. I have a decent schedule today, plenty to do plus a work errand and a meeting this afternoon. Tonight is free of football! What will we watch?? Who am I kidding, it's either Food Network or murder shows.

QOTD - I was deathly afraid of bees as a kid - afraid of everything really. 5 older brothers and sisters will do that to you - scarred for life, yo. But as it turns out, bees aren't out to get me as my siblings taunted - they are wonderful in a million ways. I would love to harvest and handle for a day in a fully netted head covering, of course.

b - coffeex2, cottage cheese, tomato

l- tuna w/celery

d- more chicken dumplings

s- hummus, qukes

No exercise today so far, but will do yoga stretch tonight when I get home

Have a great day!

Good morning, everybody!

We did Nasty Girls yesterday. If you have ever heard of that it is probably because of this video;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0nPnElcqgU

Recorded in 2004 by former olympic downhill skier Eva Twardokens and two other athletes the video went viral and received millions of views. At the time, Crossfit was a single gym in a Santa Cruz, California industrial Park, that posted workouts on the internet that few people cared about.

Unlike Eva, there is no way that I can get my chonk ass over those rings one time, much less 21 times, so I scaled as follows:

3 Rounds

50 squats

7 green band pull-ups

7 Blue band Ring Dips

10 Hang Power clean 95#

I went with a lightish pull-up and clean so that I could keep moving and get the intended cardio workout. It was still tough and I finished in 12:14, so that was probably the right scale. Its not intended as a 30 minute strength routine.

Speaking of ample buttocks, the Fat Bear contest starts today. I have not yet selected an ursine, but I believe that QJB has taken a rooting interest in years past

It turns out that they were selling the Lego advent calendars at Costco for less than we ordered ours for, which kind of negated our coupon. Marilyn still thinks they are cute and is excited for hers to come, so that is the important thing.

I'm hoping to try out the River Quiver this afternoon if I can get done by 3:30 with some work that I need to do and get to the gym for the 11:00 class.

QOTD: They keep bees at the Palm and I have noticed them on the way to lunch. It looks cool, but Im not sure that I would want to get into all of the outfits. So put me down as a maybe.

Breakfast: Corned Beef Hash

Lunch: Tomato and Burata

Dinner: Lamb

Have a great day, all!

QOTD- Nope a big nope, I hate getting stung. But I am interested in the honey.

Another rainy day, I think it supposed to be warmer tomorrow. I'm hoping I can sneak in a couple of loads of laundry, sheets and towels to dry outside it looks like Thursday or Friday might be my best bet.

Not much going on here, other than paramedic visits. This may be the last day of IV infusions, he'll know when he talks to the Dr this afternoon. We've never had this much traffic to our house.

Have a great day everyone!
