Good Morning! UGH Grim and I both slept like crap last night. I really don't know why. My arm hurts a bit from my vaccinations but it wasn't awful. But for whatever reason, I felt like I did an hour on and and hour off over and over last night.

Today we're going to run an errand first thing, and will grab breakfast out. Then I'll come back and get organized before my zoom meeting this afternoon. Then I will probably get to making dough to freeze so that I can get ahead for Halloween.

QOTD: Would you ever be interested in bee keeping? Yes for me! I always thought it would be a great thing to learn. When I was in my 20s I had friends who lived right on the coast and they had a beautiful yard and got into bee keeping. They would host people to come in groups to help them harvest honey a few times a summer and it was really cool.

Accountability: Practically perfect in every way.

Morning gang. We're off in a minute for an early morning trip to get some wood, and have breakfast as well. I always have sausage links at home and patties while out. I know, I know -- it's crazy and decadent. But that's how I roll.

I had decided enough was enough, and I'd run out of excuses, so it's time to get my knees replaced. I got a call from the surgeon's scheduler yesterday, and it's looming a lot sooner than I expected. I'm having one knee done on October 25, and the other on November 29. Which is, incidentally, a great excuse to not have a gang of people over for a big Thanksgiving!

QOTD: Beekeeping sounds fun. It's fascinating, in a bunch of ways. But I've never known anyone who has done it.

It does seem like everything is always scheduled for tomorrow or 2027. Best of luck with the procedures!

When I was born, people could not get replacement parts. Now you can get hips, knees, heart, kidney, liver, or lungs. Fifty some years ago, the whole world was fascinated by the thought of ever replacing a heart and now that is actually somewhat common. A lot of my friends have new hips and new knees and are doing great with them. Congratulations on getting it done.

Now can you convince JB to have her knee checked too?
