What's on your Sunday menu?

Good mornin everyone!

Not a whole lot planned for the day. Hoping to take it fairly easy. I've had severe itching since about 1:30. Benadryl has offered no relief. Not sure what the cause is as I tried skipping two meds I thought caused some of the itching. With intense pain it just has made for a miserable night.

Thanks for the tips on the snacks yesterday! I need to figure out what snacks I'd like to keep around so maybe I'll research that today.

QOTD: what are y'all's favorite healthy small meal or snack ideas?

right now I'd have to say English cucumbers with sometimes dressing but mostly by themselves. I like roasted seaweed a lot. I like nuts and seeds but they don't always like me back. I like protein bars somewhat but have yet to find ones I like a lot.

B: two mini frittatas, small avocado and coffee x 2

L: tilapia, pomegranate molasses and a salad w/strawberry vinaigrette

D: haven't decided on this yet

Good morning! Up at 2 am to get ready for my flight. And my strongest thought process is "damn, I am so hungry!!". We are waiting for the Uber and I am sipping coffee. I need to wait like 6 hours to eat or my whole day will be a mess. I celebrated the start of vacay last night with a crunchy taco and a glass of red wine. Just one. And I'm heading out just 1.9 pounds over my goal weight. Putting that right there in writing so I can hold myself accountable on food and exercise choices. I can eat good food and get in great exercise and have a fabulous time.

QoTD: egg and cottage cheese, beef jerky and 1 oz nice cheese

Food is I have NO idea! Plane and airport food for the next 20 hours or so. Wish me luck.

Have a great week. Peace Everybody.

I must have missed a day or two of checking OH - I know you're going on a cruise, but where? Twenty hours to get there (I'm assuming this involves layovers) - Europe?

Morning Mel and weekend menuers,

Ah, Sunday! I've been up off and on all night listening to the drunk people in the parking lot. Part of the Oktoberfest experience here! Coffee place opens at 7 and I might walk back that way for exercise after walking the dogs.

I'll have breakfast with the fam today and then book it north. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be in upstate NY about this time tomorrow.

QOTD- seaweed, blueberries, spinach fritatta pieces, biltong.

Food today is protein bag, eggs, maybe a German sausage, and not sure what else. Cheers!

You have to be young to enjoy the drunks in the parking lot. I am old and cranky and would want them to be quiet.

Good morning all ~ Mel - I do hope you can make your own snack basket for when the bad snacks start calling. It really works for me and most times I only have to look at the basket. Just knowing I have options calm my cravings. Yesterday I added Quest Cinnamon brown butter cookies to my stash. I prefer the single serving things because I can not be trusted with portioning. Today we are walking the dogs at the park, laundry, football, kiddo is coming over, grocery shopping and I am making the chicken and dumplings for real tonight. I fell asleep yesterday afternoon and woke up too late to start that production. Tonight it's on.

QOTD - My go to quick meal is eggs, always on hand. Healthy snacks are usually veggies, I love them - cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, carrots, bell peppers with a dip or tajin and I added small apples to the rotation yesterday. SF Jello or popsicle**** the spot too.

B - coffee, x2, cottage cheese w/ebb+j

l - 1/2 turkey sandwich w/all the fixin's on real SD bread

d - chicken and dumplings

s - baby cucumbers and hummus

cals - 896cals / 74g protein

30 minute, mile long walk with dogs - so slow

Have a great day!
