Three months like that? Yikes. The itching alone would have killed me.

Good morning everybody!
My bum is sore from lunging on Tuesday. Every time that I take a step with my briefcase on my shoulder, it swings back and hits me in the butt, reminding me of my affliction.
It's actually not that bad, just a little twinge. I guess it's just the price I pay for having buns of steel.
One of my friends went to Stonehenge last week. Which, of course, brought to mind the scene in Spinal Tap where they order the Stonehenge stage props in inches instead of feet.
QOTD: We seem to have a lot of turnover in our hospital system. I haven't willingly changed, but the doctors have come and gone. With that said, it's my endocrinologist who I really view as my primary.
Breakfast: Pop Tart (blueberry, Kell)
Lunch: Chicken
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

QJB-happy you had a productive day yesterday. It sounds like that despite no school or schedule you have found a way to keep yourself occupied. Good luck on the job search and cookie prep.
A couple of meetings today, otherwise the usual work stuff. I am happy to report that DS has settled into college and is actually focusing on his schoolwork. Yay! I had expected him to make excuses and skim the surface of getting by despite the fact that he is pursuing a discipline that requires excellent grades to be accepted into (nursing schools are very competitive here). Right now he is doing his pre-req courses. Tonight, DD and I are going to a Japanese themed cooking class. It is the same place we did the Ethiopian class, which is more of a demonstration class with dinner of the items cooked. Tonight's menu is roasted chicken miso soup, steamed Bao bun stuffed with beef and cabbage, served with a chili sauce. For dessert will be a Matcha tiramisu. Should be tasty.
QOTD: If I like the provider I prefer to stay with the same person. I don't really like getting to know a new provider. I realize that the provider doesn't remember much about me, uses the medical chart to familiarize themselves with my history, but I like the fact that I have seen them before, know how they will respond to my requests, etc.
Accountability: a couple of extra pieces of sf chocolate, overall, not bad
usual meals until dinner then Japanese as above

The Japanese cooking class sounds intriguing. I love Japanese food but have no experience cooking it outside of basics.

Me neither. My actual first real Japanese food was during the OH Conference when I went over to the Japanese market that had a bunch of little walk-up restaurants. I tried beef tongue (which was tasty) in a curry sauce. Then we did Japanese style Poke bowl (also liked that). I don't really consider the Benihana experience Japanese since it is just steak and rice...(at least when I ordered it, we sat around the grill for the "show").

G'morning all!
That meme is so true. During our vacation with kids we talked about the Bermuda Triangle and how all of sudden is no longer a big deal and nobody gets lost. Kids were of the opinion with new technology and gps people hardly get lost. I still can't figure out my north and south when gps tells me to head north to get out of the parking lot, so I would be lost in the Bermuda Triangle.
QOD - I've had the same Dr for the last 10-15 years. She is around my age or maybe 5 years younger so I'm hoping we can stick it out together. In our area when you look up the drs mostly say not accepting new patients so you can't be too choosy. My eye Dr retired last year, not due to age but her kids, so I was in the market for a new one. I found one close to home but when he came out of the room my hopes were dashed. I don't think he will be working for more than 5 years. I hate Dr shopping.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Over night pumpkin rolled oats
- Caldosa (ceviche with quest chips)
- Cold cuts & cinnamon dusted Toscano cheese
- E: 5 miles Wog + Weights
Happy jr Fri-yay!
